Pelosi is a lawyer's lawyer. Conservatives invaded her home, and put her husband in the hospital by beating him with a ballpeen hammer. Only a lawyer could consider what we have to be anything remotely like genuine politics. She must view everything in terms of dollar signs.

You only wish he were that limited. According to the courts, he can't even be thrown in jail for treason. When does a cult become a revolt? When the banks make a profit. The Mafia doesn't even own Vegas anymore, and are too small time to mention in the same breath. The Tea Party is running the Pentagon, and Wall Street.

Trump won. The GOP went with Trump instead of accomplishing something for their constituents in 2024.

The GOP has dropped an effort to pass a strict bill to handle the migrant issue at the border.

Now that he has nixed the border bill, Trump can say once again during the 2024 campaign that he wants the border bill.

Trump Takes Credit at Rally for Killing Bipartisan Border Crackdown Bill — Then Rails About Border

    excerpt:

"A pleased Donald Trump at a Las Vega campaign rally Saturday took credit for arm-twisting behind the scenes to convince Republicans to kill the bipartisan federal bill to crack down on border security.

He is out to deny President Joe Biden a victory so he can continue to exploit chaos at the border as a campaign issue. It's a tactic that has sparked harsh criticism, even from Republicans."

Trump has talked in a similar fashion about the Ukraine war.

He says he can stop the war quickly but won't give details until after the 2024 election (assuming he's reelected) because saying it now would ruin the element of surprise needed by his supposed plan to stop the war.

Before Trump formally became a candidate in the 2024 election, he gave a cheap excuse to Hannity when he stated that he couldn't say how he would stop the war in Ukraine because it would make him seem like a presidential candidate, and he might be violating campaign laws and could get into trouble with the government because he wasn't yet a formal candidate (as if potentially getting into trouble with the law and government ever stopped Trump before).

Jurors awarded 'astronomical' amount because they knew Trump had 'to be thwarted': expert

    excerpt:

"It brings me back to an argument that Carroll's attorneys made during closing arguments which was this, this trial is also about something much more profound, whether the rules that apply to everyone else, to you, to me, to Miss Carroll, whether they also apply to Donald Trump, and it feels when I hear that total, $83.3 million in damages, that that was the jury's answer in some ways to that macro question," said anchor Alicia Menendez.

Biden and Trump Evenly Matched in U.S. Favorable Ratings

    excerpt:

"Since he won the presidency, Biden’s favorable rating has fallen among nearly all major subgroups of society, but the decline has been particularly pronounced among two: young adults and people of color.

After receiving similar ratings near 50% from all age groups in October 2020, Biden is now viewed most favorably by older adults (47%) and least favorably by those aged 18 to 34 (30%). The 18-point decline in his rating from young adults is double what he has suffered among middle-aged adults, while he has hardly lost any ground with older adults."

Trump won 97% of the GOP primary vote in the 2020 Iowa caucus. He was running that year with the perks of being an incumbent.

    He won 51% in 2024.

In the 2016 Iowa caucus, Trump (24%) lost to Cruz (27%) and said it was because of a rigged caucus.

2020 Iowa Republican presidential caucuses - Wikipedia

Trump’s spell is broken — no wonder he’s mad

    excerpt:

"Iowa is white, rural and very conservative. It should have offered the most ideal conditions for demonstrating Trump’s invincibility. It didn’t. In 2020, when he was the incumbent, he won 97 percent of the vote. In 2024, when he only pretended to be an incumbent, he won about 51 percent. Nearly half of the most extreme Republicans in an extremely Trump-friendly state decided that they wanted someone else to carry the party’s mantle."

    Trump mystery debt.

Trump’s $50 Million Mystery Debt Looks Like ‘Tax Evasion’

    excerpt:

"That’s where former federal judge Barbara Jones, the court-appointed special monitor in Donald Trump’s New York business fraud case, just planted a financial bombshell that legal experts say suggests Trump lied knowingly and repeatedly on his federal financial disclosures about a major loan that never existed—and may have evaded taxes on $48 million in income.

The detail came in a letter Jones filed on Friday to update New York Judge Arthur F. Engoron, first reported by The Messenger, on her efforts to get a full and clear accounting of the Trump Organization’s assets. The letter claims, yet again, that Trump and his company have filed statements containing inconsistencies and errors, but have been “cooperative” in the review process.

But Jones tucked a major revelation into footnote 6, writing that a massive chunk of debt Trump has claimed to owe one of his own companies for years apparently does not exist, and never did."

After Trump was out of office, he tried to spoil the infrastructure bill that Congress passed and Biden signed into law.

Trump wanted the GOP in Congress to wait years until 2025 when he hoped to be back in office to once again make promises about infrastructure for another four years.

Trump accomplished nothing on infrastructure when he was president for four years.

    And nothing on healthcare.

The $83.3 million is in addition to the $5 million awarded to Carrol in May 2023.

Trump lost the appeal for the $5 million judgment in July 2023. Trump said the $5 million was excessive.

Oregon man arrested in connection to Capitol riot.

MILWAUKIE, Ore. — A Milwaukie man was arrested Tuesday for multiple charges relating to his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

    excerpt:

"The 27-year-old Andy Steven Oliva-Lopez was arrested by the FBI. The Portland and Washington FBI offices had identified him in video footage and images on the west front of the Capitol grounds, clashing with officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and United States Capitol Police."

Genius Trump boasts about how he just realized that U.S. uses the same letters as the word 'us'.

Trump claims he is ‘genius’ for realising ‘us’ is spelled the same as ‘US’

    excerpt:

"Donald Trump bemoaned the fact that he was never described as “genius” after revealing to his followers that he had recently realised that the word “us” was spelled the same as “US”.

The former president questioned whether anybody else had ever thought to make the connection before, as he addressed supporters in New Hampshire on Monday, amid several ongoing criminal investigations into his conduct during his time in office."

The extreme effect Trump can have on a GOP candidate.

Liz Cheney had been easily winning primaries and the general elections during her career.

    Liz Cheney - Wikipedia

    excerpt:

"Cheney lost the August 16, 2022, Republican primary to pro-Trump candidate Harriet Hageman,[67] with 28.9% of the vote to Hageman's 66.3%. Her margin of defeat was the second-worst for a House incumbent in the last 60 years, behind that of South Carolina Republican Bob Inglis in a 2010 primary runoff.[68] "

Detailed article about U.S. immigraiton since 1964.

    https://www.migrationpolicy.org/article/immigration-shaped-united-states-history

    excerpt:

"The nearly 60-year-old U.S. immigration system was designed in response to factors that are increasingly disconnected from current economic and demographic realities. The U.S. population is aging, with the U.S. Census Bureau estimating that seniors over age 65 will outnumber children under 18 by 2034, potentially straining pension and health-care systems. Additionally, the gap between labor demand and the skills of U.S. workers is projected to widen. Demand for lower-skill jobs in health care, hospitality, and other fields is expected to grow, but U.S. workers’ rising education levels make them less likely to fill these jobs. And the U.S. population grew by the lowest rate on record, at just 0.1 percent, in 2020."

Melania's symbol for her anti-bullying campaign should be Trump's face with a red circle-slash on it.
