If the Supreme Court ruled on the Trump immunity claim in June when it ends its session, 88 days remain for Trump's team because of Chutkan's earlier ruling (before the yet-to-be-known delay due to the Supreme Court taking up Trump's immunity claim). A trial could started in late September. Assuming it lasts at least six weeks like Smith estimate, the trial would run up into the November 5 election.

Trump faces huge losses as he flogs commercial real estate properties in the teeth of a brutal market

    excerpt:

"The Trump Organization owns or invests in multiple office towers from New York to San Francisco. One of its key Manhattan properties, 40 Wall St., was purchased by Trump in what his business hails as “one of the great real estate deals of all time” back in 1995. In 2015, it was valued at $540 million, according to commercial mortgage-backed securities data. That has since fallen to $270 million, the Bloomberg Billionaires Index estimates.

Trump’s filing with the appeals court was the first time he’s hinted publicly that he may not have enough liquid assets to cover the verdict in the fraud case, where a judge ruled Feb. 16 that the former president had misled banks for years in violation of New York law. Trump also owes $83.3 million to writer E. Jean Carroll, who won a defamation suit against him last month, making matters even worse for the presidential candidate.

In testimony last year, Trump claimed to have more than $400 million in cash. While that’s a hefty sum, it wouldn’t be enough to cover the bonds he’d need to post with the court while appealing the back-to-back verdicts."

Fox seems to have learned at least a little from the $787 million it had to pay Dominion after it lost the defamation suit stemming from Fox spreading misinformation that Trump supposedly won the 2020 election.

Fox News Host Crashes Donald Trump Speech With Blunt Reminder For Ex-President

    excerpt:

"Just one slight thing I wanted to add because when you hear it, and you heard from Donald Trump about the 2020 election, and he got millions more votes. In fact, he did get millions more votes,” acknowledged Cavuto. “He still lost that election. That is not in doubt anymore. That’s not being debated anymore.”

Trump could have appealed his 'absolute immunity' loss in the three-judge federal appeals court panel to the full appeals court, but he didn't.

After the scathing response he received from the unanimous three-judge panel and another one likely if he had appealed to the full appeals court, he figured it would be better to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court where he has cohorts.

A second scathing loss in the full appeals court would have made the U.S. Supreme Court look even less credible for taking the case, and it might not have taken the case, leaving Trump no further options.

I wish they would quit worrying about it and just do the shit. Who cares that it would fall just before the elections- I don’t. The timing should never be the concern- it’s never a concern for anyone else who runs for office. And those folks that would be pissed off- let them be pissed off. They wanted there to be so much uproar when Trump was getting indicted, and Trump didn’t get the results that he was hoping for, in the form of civil unrest. When it didn’t happen, Trump continued to play on the sympathy of his base and got them to donate money to him- this is crazy!!

Trump's attorneys are aware of these issues. It turns out they made what appears to be the right decisions that maximized the delay of the election subversion federal trial.

Further delay expected for Trump's documents trial.

Judge Cannon indicates Smith's request of a trial starting July 8, 2024 is unrealistic.

Judge Aileen Cannon says in Donald Trump's classified documents trial is not imminent

    excerpt:

"A federal judge in Florida said Friday the prosecution's proposal to try Donald Trump starting July 8 on charges of hoarding national security documents is unrealistic, while the former president's lawyers suggested starting Aug. 12 or after the November election."

It's Trump's problem for intentionally delaying the trials toward the 2024 election.

Ginni Thomas was in the special guest seat at the U.S. Supreme Court when it heard arguments to determine whether it would hear Trump 'absolute immunity' claim (which it later decided to hear).

Sounding similar to Mike Lindell, she had stated after the 2020 election that Biden was trying to pull off the biggest heist in history.

It must have been great for Ginni Thomas to see if the Supreme Court and her husband, Clarence, could effectively salvage some of her 'stolen election' conspiracy narrative that she pushed so hard after the 2020 election by re-adjudicating and rehashing something that was so obviously wrong with Trump's claim (as shown by the appeals court's unanimous, emphatic rejection of it) and granting him a win in terms of potentially delaying his election subversion trial past the 2024 November election.

Trump Says Little on Gaza, and Nothing About What He’d Do Differently

    excerpt:

“This is one of America’s closest allies under attack. And it’s stunning that in such circumstances you have heard so little from Trump,” said John R. Bolton, a former national security adviser to Mr. Trump who became a sharp critic of him and who has long been hawkish in support of Israel.

Yet people close to Mr. Trump, who leads Mr. Biden in polls, feel little if any urgency for him to put out more detailed foreign policy plans — about Israel or any other matter.

Police officer Goodman distracted Trump's group of rioters.

Video shows Goodman and the group walking past one of the entrance doors to the Senate chamber where Pence had been present.
