Judge Chutkan set a trial start date of March 4, 2024 for Trump's federal election subversion case in DC.

Trump was saved by the bell by the U.S. Supreme Court that agreed to hear is argument about supposed absolute immunity as a former president.

The Supreme Court is expected to give a decision in early July 2024.

Trump delayed the case by about four months with the immunity claim.

Cannon had set a start date of May 20, 2024 for Trump's documents trial in FL.

Trump attorneys proposed a start date of August 12, 2024.

Jack Smith wanted a start date in July 2024.

Cannon subsequently postponed it indefinitely.

BIden could have referred to Trump as 'convicted felon Trump' at least a few times during the debate to drive the point home.

Biden stated during the debate that the only person on the stage who is a convicted felon is Trump.

The best Trump could do is say that Biden might become a convicted felon after he's out of office.

Despair in the air: For many voters, the Biden-Trump debate means a tough choice just got tougher

"Trump’s disregard for the facts suffused his arguments, though he was rarely challenged on the specifics during the debate. On abortion, for example, one of America’s most divisive issues for generations, the former Republican president claimed there is universal agreement that states should decide on the legality of it. There is ferocious argument about that.

It's been about one month since Trump was convicted of 34 felonies.

The RCP running average of his favorable rating recorded by various polling groups over that month has dropped about 1%. It's the slight drop seen on the far right of the graph.

The largest drops of about 5% occurred after the riot at the Capitol and after the dismal 2022 GOP midterm election results. Trump recovered from those drops after a couple months.

Trump has generally maintained an RCP favorable rating in the low 40's since he started his presidential term.

If the Supreme Court grants Trump immunity, its decision will be in harsh contrast to what the appeals court wrote.

Only in the United States can a candidate blatantly lie literally nonstop during a debate and be declared the winner.

 

But he's practically on fire at the rally in NC the next day...maybe it was the Nyquil ??
