PA is arguably the most critical swing state in the 2024 election in the context of its 19 electoral votes.

Surveys during the past months have shown Trump leading Biden in PA.

The shooting happening in PA can work to Trump's advantage.

The shooting will help cement Trump's support in the state by encouraging every last Trump supporter to vote for him. It ups the ante for Biden to perform similarly.

Trump says his life was saved by the big screen image at his rally that showed the increase in migrants across the Mexican border since he left office.

He said he turned his head to the right to point to the screen and that the bullet would have killed him if he hadn't turned his head.

It was expected that Trump would somehow tie the assassination attempt with migrants.

Many of Trump's unfounded claims are rooted in migrants crossing the Mexican border.

Black-trucks with government plates showed up at the house of Vance.

It's fueling rumors that Trump may have selected Vance as his VP.

Others speculate it's security for Vance in the wake of the shooting incident on Saturday.

 

Graham is defending Trump, as he has always done.

Graham, along with the other members of Congress, was attacked by Trump's rioters at the Capitol.

Even McCarthy, who was Speaker at the time and on the phone with Trump during the riot, couldn't convince Trump to stop the riot as his office windows were being smashed by the rioters.

Yet Graham says he's been worried for a long time about Trump being shot, seemingly not worried at all about Trump's rioters shooting him at the Capitol, claiming Trump isn't a fascist and instead portraying him as a martyr (a martyr who nearly had Pence and members of Congress killed)..

Graham's statement that Trump has millions of followers and a different point of view doesn't make Trump benign.

Millions followed the fascist dictators during the WWII era who had a different perspective. Some of the citizens and leaders at the time didn't fully appreciate how dangerous it was, tried to appease it, and paid a terrible price.

People of rational mind realize how risky it is to go down the path of Trump.
