Donald Duck getting shot has upset the stock market, forcing banks around the world to reshuffle their accounts, and hedge their bets.

The whole point of Donald Duck being declared Emperor of the World, is the banks all deciding to take the opportunity to reshuffle the entire world economy.

Big fish eat little fish, and both Russia and China's economies are in the toilet, the more corrupt money the US can attract right now, the faster it can divide the world economy in half.

China has the size and strength, and the brain of a chimp running their economy, while Russia has always been hit and miss for investors.

Trump likes white males who are 100% loyal to him and who are as fringe as he is.

Signs of trouble at Trump rally were evident in minutes before gunman opened fire

    excerpt:

"Patrick Brosnan, a former New York Police Department detective who runs a national private intelligence and security firm that has protected heads of state, suggested a building that close to the stage should have been secured and under surveillance from the start. An AR-15-type weapon has an effective range of about 400 to 500 yards (366 to 457 meters). The gunman was under 150 yards (137 meters) from Trump.

“It would just seem to me to be elemental and rudimentary as it relates to providing a steel band or circular band of protection for the former president, who is fully exposed,” said Brosnan, who has trained with the Secret Service and spoken in the past to Trump and his family about security issues."

Trump is known to be his own worst enemy.

There's the issue of the shooter on the roof and the lapse of security.

There's also the issue of Trump and his desire to stay on the stage and do fist pumps to the crowd and try to find his shoes. Members of the Secret Service were having trouble with him defying their instructions. One member told Trump that there was blood on his face and that they had to move.

People like Elon Musk are blaming diversity hiring for shortcomings of the Secret Service.

The media doesn't seem to be addressing the problem of Trump himself during the shooting. His ego made him and his attendees an ongoing target when more threats could have been present. Another person with a weapon could have sneaked into the area during the period of confusion that Trump extended.

Cannon's ruling at the start of the RNC convention when the campaign begins in earnest frees time for Trump and awards him a campaign talking point that he's already using at the convention. The documents case is shut down. No more hearings in court by Trump or his attorneys.

Jack Smith could appeal to the 11th Circuit and have a stay imposed on Cannon's dismissal. That would keep the case going.

Never-Trumper Vance, who said Trump was terrible for the working class, is now Trump's VP and trying to appeal to the working class.

Why Trump picked JD Vance as his running mate

    excerpt:

"A native of Ohio, Mr Vance gained popular attention after the release of his bestselling memoir Hillbilly Elegy, which tells of his blue-collar upbringing and how it affected his politics and worldview.

With his background, Vance could be well positioned to connect with and energise the kind of white, working class voters who narrowly delivered those states to Trump in 2016.

The former president said as much, in the social media post announcing his decision, writing that his running mate “will be strongly focused on the people he fought so brilliantly for, the American workers and farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota and far beyond"."

The expected Apprentice TV style announcement of Trump's VP pick fizzled.

    ‘What the Heck Just Happened?’

    excerpt:

"Lee did just that, delivering an early and unexpected jolt to the convention proceedings. Judging by the ensuing ovation, delegates were thrilled with the selection of Vance. Still, surveying the surroundings at that moment—no booming introduction music or flashy choreographed entrance, just an abrupt announcement to a half-empty arena—some Republicans confessed to feeling underwhelmed.

“The whole thing just seemed strange,” José Fuentes, a delegate from Puerto Rico, told me shortly after Lee’s announcement. “I just wonder—is that really how Trump wanted it?”"

Why Trump picked JD Vance as his running mate

    excerpt:

"The Vance pick is further evidence that Trump has doubled-down on Trumpism.

That, too, is something his Democratic opponents are sure to point out. On Monday, Mr Biden told reporters he didn’t see any difference between Mr Vance and the former president.

“He’s a clone of Trump on the issues,” he added.

That, of course, may be exactly what Trump wants."

After the assassination attempt on Trump, Sen. Susan Collins and others like her can once again say that Trump has finally learned his lesson and will become an ethical person.

The shooting incident has taken away the impetus to remove Biden from the campaign.

After assassination attempt on Trump, Biden’s political challenge changes in an instant

    excerpt:

"Something else largely came to a halt: The calls from within Biden’s own party for him to abandon his campaign for a second term. Until that moment, those calls had been growing by the day since his disastrous debate performance against Trump last month.

Even as the Biden campaign is working to delicately navigate a moment of national trauma and shock, some allies of the president are privately hopeful that the assassination attempt on Trump may ultimately end up quelling the Democratic dissent as the party recognizes the importance of standing as a united front. Biden returns to the campaign trail this week when he visits Nevada, a critical swing state. The trip will mark his first public test of campaigning against his predecessor in front of the backdrop of a country reeling from the shocking images of Saturday. Before he leaves for Las Vegas, Biden will sit down with NBC’s Lester Holt at the White House – an interview that now holds a difference kind of significance in the aftermath of the fatal Trump rally."

Views of Elon Musk - Wikipedia

    excerpt:

"Musk said he voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.[141]

In July 2022, Donald Trump alleged that Musk had told him he voted for him in 2016, referred to Musk as a "bullshit artist", and called Musk's contract with Twitter "rotten".[142] Musk denied telling Trump that he had voted for him, said it is "time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset" and said that Trump would be "too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America."[16][143]

Afterwards, Trump said on Truth Social that "When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it's electric cars that don't drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he'd be worthless, and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican, I could have said, 'drop to your knees and beg,' and he would have done it".

Trump also said on Truth Social that "Now Elon should focus on getting himself out of the Twitter mess because he could owe $44 billion for something that's perhaps worthless. Also, lots of competition for electric cars!".[16][144]

Afterwards, Musk tweeted "Lmaooo" in response to another Twitter user who posted a screenshot of Trump's comments and responded with a GIF of Grampa Simpson yelling at clouds.[16][145] According to Walter Isaacson's biography of Musk that was released in 2023, he apparently didn't vote in the 2020 presidential election since he believed that it was a waste of time to vote due to California being an uncontested state.[146]"

Sen. Ron Johnson read the old speech filled with nastiness at the RNC convention on Monday.

He was supposed to read the new one about unity.

Johnson is known for being the courier who would deliver the fake electors of WI to VP Pence on Jan. 6, a packet whose contents he claimed he didn't know were fake electors.

He's also known for faking to be on his cell phone talking with someone while a reporter was questioning him about the fake electors.

He accidentally read the true speech at the RNC convention instead of the fake one about unity.

Sen. Ron Johnson says he gave the wrong speech at the RNC. Here's the one he meant to give

"Wrong speech"? Bullshit. You don't whip the flying monkeys into a raging, foaming-at-the-mouth frenzy with a 'peace and reconciliation' speech; "nastiness" is what they feed upon. He gave exactly the speech he was ordered and commanded to give by his Dear Leader.

Why is Amber Rose speaking at the Republican National Convention?

    excerpt:

“For me, Donald Trump is the epitome of an alpha male. He’s there to protect, provide, make sure the citizens of the U.S. are in a good economy, protecting us. I feel protected by Donald Trump. … I feel safer with him in office,” Rose told Lara Trump, the Republican National Committee co-chair and candidate’s daughter-in-law, in a podcast interview. “If you want the prices to go down, if you want inflation to go down, if you want gas prices to go down, if you want to feel protected in your neighborhood with your children, if you’re American and you’re here and you’re born here, Donald Trump is for you.
