Trump wants CBS shut down for what he says was an illegal interview with Harris. Furious Trump Calls for CBS to Be Shut Down Over Harris Interview excerpt: "In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump called 60 Minutes’ decision to air the edited version of the exchange—which, at about one minute and ten seconds, was half as long as the two-minute and 24-second long version aired on Face the Nation— “an UNPRECEDENTED SCANDAL” and “a FAKE NEWS SCAM, which is totally illegal."
Some of the Wall Street Journal interviews Trump did were highly edited in a desperate attampt to try to sane-wash his unintelligble, meandering responses into a semblance of semi-rational statements. In one of them, Trump claimed he was going to eliminate the national debt by eliminating the trade deficit, which makes no sense.

https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/11/politics/trump-immigration-economy/index.html excerpt: “I know they do all these polls, and the polls say it’s the economy, and the polls say very strongly it’s inflation, and I can understand it a little bit,” Trump said. “To me, it’s the horrible people that we’re allowing into our country that are destroying our country. And it’s the hardest problem to solve too.”
Trump has tried to tie his anti-immigrant sentiment with the economy. When he was in Detroit, he told an African-American group at a church that the immigrants stole their jobs from them. He blames immigrants for crime. He blames immigrants for supposedly voting illegally when many of the people who were caught were Republicans who voted illegally twice for Trump in the same election.
It's consistent with Trump's general warped mentality about supposed quick-fix remedies that are ineffective. Trump thought a day of violence at the Capitol would be able to steal the election from Biden. It didn't work.
More of the same behavior can be expected from Trump if he loses the 2024 election. As a blogger said, he has never admitted to a mistake or a loss in his life. He's not expected to start by admitting he legitimately lost the 2024 election.

Trump Amplifies His Dangerous Hate Speech Against Migrants – Mother Jones excerpt: Now, in the final weeks of the presidential campaign, Trump’s rhetoric about migrants has grown even darker and more foreboding. In three campaign speeches since Friday, he conjured disturbing images of mayhem and death and spoke of the nation as if it’s on the brink of destruction. With no basis in reality, he blamed this cartoonishly grim portrait of American carnage on his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. “She let our American sons and daughters be raped and murdered at the hands of vicious monsters. She let American communities be conquered,” Trump said at a rally in Michigan on Friday, emphasizing, “They’re conquering your communities.” “They’ll walk into your kitchen,” Trump said of migrants. “They’ll cut your throat.”
It's a sorry state of affairs that a person like Trump is even in a presidential race and tied with the competitor in the polls. It's the type of demise that Americans used to ridicule and scorn other countries for being in. It will be morbid if he actually wins. Even if he doesn't win, it shows the persistent state of mentality of the American public that can continue to put such people in the White House.
https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/11/politics/trump-immigration-economy/index.html excerpt: "The images rapidly spread around social media, with Trump supporters claiming they depicted Venezuelan gangs taking over an apartment complex. The building’s owner appeared to verify that description, but the city said the substandard housing conditions maintained by the landlord were the issue, not migrants. Meanwhile, local police have encountered some gang activity tied to a Venezuelan group, but rejected theories that the gang has taken over any buildings in the city. That didn’t stop Trump, though, from seizing on the episode and escalating the falsehoods by claiming that Venezuelan gangs were taking over swathes of Colorado. He then foreshadowed a violent intervention if he is elected. “You know, getting them out will be a bloody story,” he told supporters at a Wisconsin rally last month. After Trump mentioned Aurora in the debate, the city’s mayor Mike Coffman, a Republican former congressman, said in a statement that the “overstated claims fueled by social media and through select news organizations are simply not true.” Trump had similarly planned a visit to Springfield, Ohio – another city besieged by right-wing conspiracy theories about its migrant population – but backtracked after local authorities warned of the damage it would do to the community."
Flies are attracted to Trump. The way he waves his arms around to try to rid himself of them could start up a new dance: The Fly Dance.
