Trump once again is confusing trade deficits with U.S. budget deficits and national debt.

He made these same faulty statements during his first term to the Wall Street Journal when he claimed he would reduce national debt by lowering trade deficits.

Trump thinks trade deficits are adding to the national debt. It's the opposite. The U.S. is purchasing goods and services from outside the U.S. at costs lower than it would pay if it purchased them domestically. It lowers spending for the U.S. which curtails the rising national debt.

He's now accusing the WSJ of being controlled by China.

Guy Reffitt made threats to his family members if anyone reported him to the FBI. His son reported him.

The family was fractured into factions, some supporting Trump and his rioters and others, like the son, not supporting Trump.
