My computer is not handling links very well right now....but is this true? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    :(

Every day for months I worry about what he will do to this planet and the environment.....and if people want to keep calling me a cry baby because of it, so be it. I do not know what kind of person would not be upset by things like this....and for that reason, alone, I do not care what they think of me.

Yes it's true. It's been all over the news on T.V. But apparently links posted can change or be updated--not by the poster but by the news source--which is the case with the one I posted this morning. Trump did say though that he wants to require that the pipes are manufactured in the U.S.-- this from a man who allows Chinese-made steel for his hotels.

At his morning briefing, press secretary Sean Spicer (as in "Spicerfact") reiterated Trump's view that some 3 million to 5 million "illegals" voted in the election, based on undisclosed information Trump had seen. No one else seems to be privy to this data. Bernie called Trump's claim "delusional'. The basis for Trump's claim may be extrapolations from a 2014 statement by the Washington Post that some 14% of a sample of immigrants in 2010 indicated they were registered to vote and by Pew Research that 12% of voters in the registries were out of date (moved, deceased, etc.) At least those were the figures cited before the election for Trump's claims that "Da election is rigged." Welcome to our Brave New Orwellian World" of "alternative" facts. No doubt this will provide ammunition for Republicans to engage in further voter intimidation and suppression.

This is just beyond awful...and his supporters are oblivious.

They literally could not care less, and do not see any kind of problem, even though NEWS SOURCES cite violations of conflict of interest and all types of business interest problems between him, the presidency and his children in BOTH PLACES.

If they don't like what you/your source says, it is supposed to be a "false source". This, of course, is despite having picture, video, witnesses and or similar...whomever it is - down to protesters that are hurt are "not real", paid, planted, or the like.

It is like arguing facts and science with a movie version of what a sick person decided they would have happen to the USA...only you have to do what this movie version says, and its gone off script.

I cannot believe anyone is that dumb, unless the aliens have taken over their brains....I think their hatred of Hillary is stronger than even if Trump destroys the entire planet and them, too....as long, as Hillary is not in office....Hate is driving them to not care, I think. Very sad. ...and some kind of hate I have never encountered before or know how to deal with.

I have switched my news channel to MSNBC to Rachel Maddow, mainly.....CNN was talking about coal miner workers going back to work there. they had me until they started saying they voted for Trump because of abortion.......and I just learned tonight, the day, Trump signs for the Keystone Pipeline, there was another oil spill in Canada....The second in the same region where there was an oil spill on the day Trump accepted the Republican nomination last July....
Also, in important meetings today Trump held...the first 10minutes he discussed the size of his crowd and how 300 -500 million votes that went to Hillary were illegal....voter...ands that he really won the popular vote.....

    1. Here is a link I can find about the spill....I wish i could find Maddow's link for today's news instead...
Much wildlife was ruined....Yes, save an unwanted fetus....and nevermind the tons of meat they will possibly eat and consume in one lifetime....

Spicer is like a human extension of Trump's twitter account. He's been at it only a couple days and already sounds like he is having emotional problems handling criticism from the public and press. An alternative approach might be to invest in a Spicer android linked to Trump's twitter account and place it in the briefing room of the White House.

Trump's behavior with the press is consistent with previous reports about him still holding a grudge against Graydon Carter who wrote an article in the 1990's saying that Trump had small hands. Trump has mailed Carter photos of his hands from newspaper clippings over the years to try to prove they aren't small. Trump has shown an inability to handle even the most trivial of criticism and a preoccupation with size (big buildings, big breasts, his (supposedly) big hands, the (alternate facts) record big inauguration crowd, his proposed wall that he said would be big and beautiful).

Using things that have happened in the US in the past to see what could happen in the future

    A new loyalty oath

On March 21, 1947, President Harry S Truman instituted a Loyalty Program by signing Executive Order 9835, also known as the "Loyalty Order." It required loyalty oaths and background investigations on persons deemed suspect of holding party membership in organizations that advocated violent and anti-democratic programs.

In practice this often meant anyone suspected of having left leaning views lost their job. What were ‘left wing’ views well here is Albert Canwell of the California state un-American committee to explain

“If someone insists there is discrimination against Negroes in this country, or that there is inequality of wealth, there is every reason to believe that person is a communist”

At first under the loyalty programme people could appeal but the evidence against them did not have to be disclosed and accusers did not have to be identified but later departments were given the power to dismiss individuals without having to conduct any hearing whatsoever on the merest suspicion.

    *

So let’s see could Trump bring in something like ‘disloyalty to the democracy’ anyone that was suspected of being disloyal to the democratically elected Trump administration being thrown out in favour of loyalists

Hell they could even use Albert Canwell's definition to purge the system of any ‘liberals’.

    *

The beginning of such a move to me would be signalled by government employees being told that they could not speak to the press or post on social media

    Hey just a minute….

He has to fix that and quickly

Throwing tantrums because the media doesnt report the way he wants them to doesnt make him sound like a strong leader, and its going to get old pretty quickly

You won't have a reliance on the state if you have a decent paying job.

Trump seems to be filling speeches he knows will not go down well with his own employees who are there to cheer and clap to make it seem like they are going down well.

An official said the visit “made relations with the intelligence community worse” and described the visit as “uncomfortable.”

Authorities are also pushing back against the perception that the CIA workforce was cheering for the president. They say the first three rows in front of the president were largely made up of supporters of Mr. Trump’s campaign.
