Musk can try to remedy that problem by starting a sweepstakes that gives a chance of winning $1 million to anyone in Greenland who is willing to meet with Vance.

Turkish student at Tufts University is latest Palestinian supporter swept up in US crackdown excerpt: “We gave you a visa to come and study and get a degree, not to become a social activist, to tear up our university campuses,” Rubio told reporters during a stop in Guyana.
Trump may think that what the public disclosure of what happened to African-Americans in the U.S. is un-American, but it's what happened. Likewise, Trump may think that the public disclosure of the objective facts of what his rioters did at the Capitol is un-American, but it's what happened. Whitewashing it isn't echical.
John Bolton said in an interview this week that Trump talking about commandeering Greenland in the name of security is similar to Putin saying he invaded Ukraine because he needs it for security and the leader of China saying Tawain is needed for its security.
Trump is incarcerating college students in a Louisianna ICE facility without due process because of their promotion of the Palestinian cause (which isn't a crime). He also deported hundreds of Venezuelans to a maximum security prison in El Salvador without due process because he says they are gang members (which in itself isn't a crime). Yet he was with rappers on stage at his campaign rally who were actually committing crimes. Now that one of them has been convicted fairly through the justice system, Trump will say that the rapper is being treated so unfairly.
Remark by farmer about the 2020 year. Trade wars, federal cuts complicate lives of some Nebraskans who put Trump back in office excerpt: "We have already been through this once. We went through it in 2020. And it was a hand grenade that went off that time, and the prices fell out of bed. Made it through. We were subsidized by the government, basically the loss of what they thought the trade, the tariffs impacted the price. And it ended up being a really profitable year for farmers."
The money came from U.S. taxpayers. It was essentially welfare checks to U.S. farmers. The money would have actually been free market profit had Trump not started his trade wars. Yet many farmers don't seem bothered by the thought of receiving welfare from the federal government and some actually applaud Trump for it, like the farmer being interviewed in the news article.

Gang Affiliation Laws excerpt: "What are the Federal Laws against Gang Affiliation? The federal government currently does not have any particular laws against gang affiliation per se. However, it does prosecute the members of criminal gangs or groups under the powerful federal law known as the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act is designed to fight organized crime. It enables prosecutors to seek criminal conviction and civil penalties as well for racketeering activity that is done as part of the operation of an ongoing criminal enterprise. Racketeering is defined as operating an unlawful, criminal business. This sort of crime is typically associated with the mafia and other organized criminal enterprises."
An example are the rappers Trump had on stage with him at his campagn rally in May 2024. One was convicted this week of criminal behavior. Being a rapper or gang member isn't criminal. It's the criminal behavior that may be associated with it.
Trump is expected to have a difficult time making his executive order that tries to change state election laws to his liking hold up in the courts. The U.S. Constitution relegates the details of operations of elections to the states. Trump lost over 60 court cases when he tried to overturn the 2020 election. The courts didn't agree with his complaints about how he thought the states ran their 2020 elections improperly and sided with the states. The U.S. Supreme Court didn't help trump with his quest either.
Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Roberts, took issue with Trump's remark about impeaching and disbarring judges who don't necessarily agree with him. Roberts made a rare public statement that Trump's approach isn't the way to resolve issues.

John Bolton asked the same question this week during an interview. The government has more secure venues available, yet Trump's people are using social media to send information about planning upcoming military attacks. Bolton questioned how much of this behavior may have been occurring with Trump's people and how much sensitive information might have been intercepted by adversaries.
Bondi would be applauding the head of the military, Hegseth, for his stunt on Fox of throwing an axe, completely missing a bullseye target, and hitting and injuring significantly a drummer. She would say that nothing bad happened.
Smart move putting a weekend Fox "news " person in charge of the worlds largest military. A known drunk, by the way.
The Senate confirmed Hegseth because he said he wouldn't drink anymore while running the Pentagon. As if that somehow makes him competent to run the entire military.
