Fox host raves about expected increase in jobs by 95,000 then stumbles when it turns out to be a decline of 33,000.

Fox Host Stumbles After Seeing Terrible Jobs Report Live on Air

    excerpt:

“Of course, President Trump is talking about this [big, beautiful] bill leading to growth in the economy, we are waiting any moment now to get the jobs numbers for the month of May. The expectations call for the ADP numbers to be up ninety-five thousand for the month of June, rather,” Bartiromo said on Wednesday. Then her eyes widened.

“Right now [we’re] seeing the number actually, uh, show a decline in jobs, uh, down thirty-three thousand on ADP.” She promptly changed the subject to the Golden Dome missile defense system, something Trump insists we need and which his budget bill funds."

Trump announces Vietnam trade deal. 20% tariffs on its imports to U.S.

Trump says U.S. struck trade deal with Vietnam that imposes 20% tariff on its imports

    excerpt:

"Under that protectionist trade scheme, Vietnamese imports to the U.S. were subject to a 46% blanket tariff. That rate was lowered to 10% during the 90-day interim. Raising the tariff on Vietnamese goods to 20% will hike costs for U.S. importers, which could be passed on to consumers or suppliers."

That's ok. Just blame it on Biden.

If it had been good news, attribute it to Trump.

House advances budget bill. Vote expected on Thursday. Trump would sign it into law probably on Friday, 4th of July.

Trump says Raskin is a loser with an ugly face after he said Trump isn't aware of the Medicaid cuts in the budget bill the House advanced on Wendesday.

The budget bill cuts Medicaid to the lower income who need it most to pay for corporate tax cuts that become permanent and to pay for Trump's enigmatic 'Golden Dome' military venture.

People will still think the Medicaid cuts will only happen to young men who are supposedly unemployed by choice and are living off Medicaid while playing video games. Some will still believe it even after the Medicaid cuts hit them.

Sen. Murkowski said she was hoping the House would fix the major problems with the budget bill after her yes vote in the Senate advanced the bill to the House after she received goodies for her state of Alaska. It didn't.

Jeffries passes four-hour mark in speech as House is poised for final vote on the budget bill.

Democratic leader speaks for more than four hours on House floor as Republicans aim to vote on Trump’s major tax bill – live

    excerpt:

Hakeem Jeffries, now passing four hours on the House floor, said the tax and spending bill takes a “chainsaw” to Medicare, Medicaid, nutritional assistance for hungry children, and vulnerable Americans. But, he said, Democrats are “here to make clear, Mr Speaker, we’re determined to take a chainsaw to Project 2025”.

Yeah, he can yack as long as he wants, this bill will pass, simply because the rest of the weasels are so afraid of what the emperor will do. He already threatened Senator Tom Tillis into not running for reelection. Probably the only one thing smart and honorable that he's done since he wormed his jerrymandered way into office...

I think I'd rather die quickly in a gas chamber then to suffer for who knows how long in the Everglades with mosquitos and snakes and all the dense heat of the swamp.
What boggles my mind is how so many Americans cannot see how our country is going down fast. Will it take them to have a loved one hauled away off the streets to finally say "HEY, wait!" The wheels of justice turned too slowly from 2020-2024, and now there is no justice at all. One year after the Supreme Court's decision to offer presidential immunity, we are seeing what that really means when we have a criminal mobster running things there.

Rep. Burchett of TN and other GOP holdouts on the budeget bill in the House changed their minds after being chamed by Trump and given Trump-autographed merchandise.

Trump used charm, autographs to seal budget bill deal: ‘He told me he likes seeing me on TV’

    excerpt:

Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., was among those on the fence on the bill.

On Wednesday, the GOP lawmaker gave his followers on X a peek on the president’s successful attempt at persuasion.

“The president was wonderful, as always. Informative, funny. He told me he likes seeing me on TV, which is kinda cool,” Burchett said in a video posted to his X account.

“The president answered all our questions, was very informative. It was a very good day,” Burchett continued. “We’ll hopefully get this worked out and do some great things for this country.”

It seems Senator Murkowski always "hopes" for things she must know won't come true. She said similar things when she approved nominations for the Supreme Court. She banked on their empty promises and lies, and she also expressed similar hopes about the president, even though she has been somewhat vocal that she does not approve of him.
It's what our leaders have become. No spine. No convictions. Just a lot of misplaced hope that she can do what she wants and hope someone else will fix the problem.
She could have stopped these messes several times.

Cowards. Any GOP holdouts on the BBB are toast.
