Supply chain shock caused by Trump's and Miller's deportatation crusade.. https://www.foodmanufacturing.com/s...eat-of-mass-deportations-on-the-us-food-chain
Disruptions of the supply chain during and after the Covid pandemic were a main cause of inflation. Trump still doesn't understand this. The urge to deport people he doesn't like has precedence. The latest narrative is that people who want Medicaid will jump in and replace the workers on farms and elsewhere whom Trump and Miller deported.
Supply chain disruptions are being engineered by Trump with his tariff wars and Miller with his deportation wars.
Both of those mindsets and behaviors stem from pathological emotional issues harbored by those two people. For Trump, it's the belief that every country in the world is ripping off America. For Miller, it's an intense, deep-rooted animosity toward people who aren't the nativist white Christians within his narrow acceptance cone.
Trump says he might have done DOGE differently. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/...uts-i-would-have-done-it-differently-00442255
Typical Trump remarks. He would have done it differently. Maybe a little. Well, maybe not. Whatever might have been done wrong won't hurt him or the Republicans. Well, maybe hurt the Republicans but not him. What might have been done differently will be announced in about two weeks. Maybe not two weeks.
Trump and Hegseth not on the same page. https://www.aol.com/news/hegseth-di...uftt-jCKkRuGsQSKtegurhBBjxL5umCQcOf58OHIbzfPg excerpt: "The episode underscores the often-haphazard policy-making process inside the Trump administration, particularly under Hegseth at the Defense Department. The pause was the second time this year that Hegseth had decided to halt the flow of US weapons to Ukraine, catching senior national security officials off guard, sources said. It first happened in February and the decision was quickly reversed, three of the sources said — mirroring what happened on Monday night, when Trump announced that the weapons shipments would continue despite Hegseth signing off on the pause."
ICE raids on US farms leaves crops rotting excerpt: "Immigration enforcement operations on farms have left crops rotting and farm operations disrupted in major agricultural states including California, Texas, and Pennsylvania. Farm owners and industry representatives report that up to 70 percent of workers stopped reporting to work following Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions, resulting in significant crop losses and financial strain. "We do not have enough workforce in the United States to do manual work, to do those jobs that other people are not qualified to do and do not want to do it," Alexandra Sossa, CEO of Farmworker and Landscaper Advocacy Project, told Newsweek. "For example, we are running into a problem where we do not have enough farm workers to grow the food we eat every day."

Current standings of Trump's tariff wars. https://www.npr.org/2025/07/09/nx-s1-5460936/trump-tariffs-economy-china-policy excerpt: "The U.K. and Vietnam are the only two countries with deals in place. These two trading partners, the U.K. and Vietnam, were the first to strike trade deals with the Trump administration, agreeing to increase U.S. access to their markets in exchange for limited tariffs on exports to the United States."
More like Mr. Haney, really. Has he seen the price of wire lately? A roll of wire that used to be about $30 is now $150 under lock and key at Home Depot. That adds about $2000 to a price of a new house.
Another example of Trump's indeterminate remarks. Trump sends more letters dictating high tariff rates around the world excerpt: The tariff rates for the 21 countries targeted so far range from 20% to 40%. The letters note that the U.S. will "perhaps" consider adjusting the new tariff levels, "depending on our relationship with your Country."
