The real problem is the gullibility of the American voters believing such propaganda by Trump.

And also some of the public, fueled by the patriotic stupor at the time, who voted to stick it to people they thought they didn't like until they found out post-election that it's people whose work on which they depend and who are their own coworkers and relatives.

Miller currently still has the upper hand over Trump, similar to how Musk did early in Trump's second term.

After previously making statements about what sounded like possible amnesty for migrant farm workers, Trump changed his mind and said there would be no amnesty and instead started talking about a fast-track visa program.

Four years of the current behavior of Miller and ICE seem difficult for the country to stomach, even for Trump supporters, and recent polls are indicating a public revulsion after only a few months of the raids.

Miller could eventually become another Elon Musk who departed after he didn't get his way on everything.

The public may not yet be fully aware of the intense animus Miller has toward those who are immigrants by his selective definition. It's not an issue with those who have a criminal background. It's anyone outside his narrow acceptance cone of Biblical white Europeans who he considers to be the true natives of America.

Trump wants Texas to manipulate districts so that the GOP will pick up five more seats.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2025/...ickup-redraw-texas-congressional-map-00454301

    excerpt:

President Donald Trump wants lawmakers in Texas to redraw the state’s congressional district map to give Republicans five more House seats, he told reporters Tuesday.

“There could be some other states we’re going to get another three, or four or five in addition. Texas would be the biggest one.” he said. “Just a simple redrawing we pick up five seats.”

If the prospective low-wage workers to replace the arrested and deported ones are actually going to pay for the fast-track visas, it won't be the $5 million that Trump is charging for his Gold Card visas.

Perhaps $47.45, like his monthly charge for his Trump gold phone.

Why is Trump even bothering to try to replace the deported migrants with more immigrants to take the jobs?

Those are the supposed great-paying jobs that the migrants supposedly stole from the MAGA faithful who think that they want those jobs for themselves.

Could you imagine some of the MAGA faithful out in the hot sun picking and lugging watermelons for $8/hr?

Trump should have spouted off the line he used before the 2024 election that he can't explain how he will stop Putin's war on Ukraine within 24 hours because it would spoil the surprise strategy needed to stop the war.

'Dangerously incompetent': CIA researcher warns 'crackpots and fools' are in charge

    excerpt:

Weiner describes new CIA director, John Ratcliffe — a former personal injury attorney — as “a spineless person who will do whatever Trump tells him to do.”

Ratcliffe immediately fired hundreds of recently hired staffers and then sent their names to Elon Musk in an unclassified email that Weiner said was probably intercepted by the Russians and Chinese, who are now presumably working to recruit them as spies.

“All they need to do is to find people who are either deeply resentful or who might have a financial or a drug problem to be exploited,” Weiner said.

CIA historian Tim Weiner: ‘Trump has put national security in the hands of crackpots and fools’

    excerpt:

Meanwhile, as Politico recently reported, allies may now be reluctant to share sensitive information with the US, no doubt mindful of the 2017 incident in which the president gleefully handed the Russian foreign minister a highly classified Israeli tip. “The CIA, to an extent that people rarely understand or appreciate, is really dependent on allied intelligence services,” Weiner explained. The appointment of Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence, who oversees the CIA and 17 other intelligence agencies, only compounds the risk, Weiner said. Gabbard has never worked in the intelligence community and has been accused of parroting Russian propaganda. “What ally would share secrets with a dangerously deluded person like that?”

'Dangerously incompetent': CIA researcher warns 'crackpots and fools' are in charge

    excerpt:

Trump’s anti-diversity crusade was another foolish mistake because “if you want to spy in a nation like Somalia or Pakistan or China, it might be wise to have a workforce that is not made up exclusively of white guys, and who speak languages other than English,” Weiner said. “Diversity was one of the CIA’s few superpowers, and the mindless abolition of the effort to diversify the CIA’s officers and analysts was one of the most stupid self-inflicted wounds that Radcliffe could have delivered.”

Trump announces 19 percent tariff on Indonesia

    excerpt:

"When Trump first postponed tariffs on April 2, the White House said it would have 90 deals in 90 days. But the US president has so far only unveiled other deals with Britain and Vietnam, alongside an agreement to temporarily lower tit-for-tat levies with China."

Trump lashes out at his own supporters over their criticism of his administration's secrecy of the Epstein files.

He now refers to them as his past supporters.

Trump slams his own supporters who are angered over how his team has handled the Epstein case

    excerpt:

“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this “bull——,” hook, line, and sinker,” Trump wrote Wednesday on his Truth Social site, using an expletive in his post. “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”

“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he went on.

Transcript: Trump’s Pollster Hits Him with Brutal News as Econ Worsens | The New Republic

    excerpt:

"Edwards: I think we could have had this exact same conversation back in November that this country elected someone who has never articulated a policy that will help basic economic issues that families face. Reaching for big tariffs, reaching for deporting people who are in the U.S. and citizens in all but name in terms of paying taxes and having jobs and putting their kids in school and going to church, and that we were going to tear down the federal government employee base for no articulated reason or really no beneficial boon to the U.S. at this point.… He’s never had solutions. He’s never diagnosed people’s problems and come up with what will solve them or make them better. We could have said that in November, even as we’re experiencing it in July, that he’s very good at getting people mad, very good at thinking of a wistful past that he would like to create. But the man has completely boxed himself out of the future because he’s not going to contribute to it.

He’s not going to make childcare more affordable. He’s not going to make health care more affordable. He’s not going to help people with housing, and he hasn’t pursued any policies that are going to do those things. At some point, Americans dissatisfaction with their own economic situation will outlast whatever joy they get seeing someone they like reelected."
