    https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/20/politics/immigration-enforcement-deportations-budget

    excerpt:

"Now, ICE is set to receive $75 billion in funding from the president’s sweeping agenda bill for detention expansion and enforcement and removal operations, including hiring new agents. It’s an unprecedented amount of cash for an agency that’s historically been underfunded, and Trump administration officials are preparing to make the most of it.

“We’re going to come harder and faster, and we’re going to take these criminals down with even more strength than we ever have before,” Noem said this month, describing how the infusion of cash will bolster her agency’s immigration-enforcement apparatus."

The files could be peppered with Trump's name.

According to Durbin, during Trump's second term the FBI was instructed to flag all reference to Trump when going through the files.

FBI personnel were told to flag Epstein files mentioning Trump, Senate Democrat says

    excerpt:

"My office was told that these personnel were instructed to 'flag' any records in which President Trump was mentioned. ... Why were personnel told to flag records in which President Trump was mentioned," Durbin asked Bondi, Patel and Bongino in separate letters. "What happened to the records mentioning President Trump once they were flagged?"

A Durbin aide told NBC News that the senator's office received that information from a protected FBI whistleblower disclosure.

The FBI declined NBC News' request for comment on Durbin's letters.

    How to top that one.

Trump can go all the way down to elementary school sports and try to change names of teams that he doesn't like because he thinks they are 'woke'. He can refer the matter to the Department of Justice for prosecution of the schools for supposedly violating civil rights laws.

    Trump's twisted tariff math.

Trump Makes 1AM Calls to ‘Friends’ to Talk About Himself

    excerpt:

"The tariffs were formulated on a bizarre and widely ridiculed calculation, which involved taking the trade deficit for the U.S. in goods with a particular country, divided by the total goods imported from that country and then dividing that number by two. In other words, they were not actually “reciprocal” at all."

Lutnick is Trump's commerce secretary, a cabinet-level position. He was once a contestant on Trump's The Celebrity Apprentic TV show.

    Donald Trump’s Tariff Dealmaker-in-Chief

    excerpt:

When Trump ran for President in 2016, Lutnick told a friend that he considered him a “buffoon,” and donated to his opponent, Hillary Clinton. He did, however, support Trump’s 2020 campaign. In the aftermath of the January 6th attack on the Capitol, Trump was kicked off Twitter, owing to, as the site put it, “further risk of incitement of violence.” At the time, Lutnick was asked if he had qualms about Trump’s presence on other online platforms. He responded, “The key to being neutral is you take both sides.”

Amid Epstein fallout, the Trump administration turns to other MAGA grievances

    excerpt:

"The Rev. Al Sharpton, the civil rights leader and MSNBC host, criticized the release of the King documents, saying the Trump administration was simply trying to change the subject.

“We need to be crystal clear on the fact that Trump releasing the MLK assassination files is not about transparency or justice, it’s a desperate attempt to distract people from the firestorm engulfing Trump over the Epstein files and the public unraveling of his credibility among the MAGA base,” he said in a statement Monday."

Drought, tariffs, disease, high feed prices are making beef prices soar.

The beef problem isn't expected to ease fairly quickly like it did for egg prices when the avian virus subsided.

Trump took credit for the drop in egg prices even though he had essentially nothing to do with it.

    https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/21/business/beef-prices-record-high

    excerpt:

“Beef is way more complicated than eggs,” said Michael Swanson, chief agriculture economist at Wells Fargo. “The cattle industry is still the ‘Wild West’ of the protein market, whereas the egg market is more ‘Corporate America’ with its supply and demand management.”

The usual can be expected from Trump.

He can say that he will import more beef, like he said about eggs when egg prices were near maximum.

He can also say he will fix it by cutting energy prices in half with his drill, baby, drill mantra.

More cuts to NWS and NOAA which are needed to predict and disseminate info about droughts and floods that damage livestock and feeds.

Prominent Haitian businessman, former presidential hopeful arrested by ICE in South Florida

    excerpt:

"Pierre Reginald Boulos, an American-born entrepreneur and physician who exercised his influence through connections with top State Department officials and vocal criticism of Haitian presidents and politicians, is being held on immigration violations in Miami after being arrested by ICE agents at his home in Palm Beach. The arrest took place on Thursday."

Lutnick will make his usual clown remarks, like he did this week, that he thinks prices will drop to outrageously low levels.
