Mango Maggot. I like that one. He's committed so many treasonous acts, we've lost count. The Rosenbergs went to the electric chair for far far far less.

Trump insults Obama and Biden with insulting descriptions of them on the 'Presidential Walk of Fame' in the White House.

Trump attacks Democratic foes in White House presidential portraits

    excpert:

Rather than offering neutral historical summaries, the plaques adopt pointed and opinionated language and read like Trump’s posts on his social network, TruthSocial. Barack Obama is described as “one of the most divisive political figures,” while Ronald Reagan is praised in personal terms, with Trump asserting that Reagan “was a fan”.

Biden’s plaque is among the most scathing. It reads: “Sleepy Joe was, by far, the worst President in American History.” It continues: “Taking office as a result of the most corrupt Election ever seen in the United States.”

    Trump's 'Bah! Humbug!' speech.

Trump’s ‘Bah! Humbug!’ address suggests he is feeling the chill of opinion polls

    excerpt:

"But this was not an address by a self-confident man dishing out Christmas presents to the nation. It smacked of desperation from one who can feel the December windchill of opinion polls – a Reuters/ Ipsos poll on Tuesday showed just 33% of US adults approve of how Trump has handled the economy – dissent in his own Republican ranks and the Jeffrey Epstein files looming on Friday."

Trump's Wednesday televised speech was his usual rhetoric.

Trump managed to stay awake for the 20-minute speech.

    https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/trump-administration-news-12-17-25

    excerpt:

"Trump claims successes: The president celebrated the work of his administration, touting its efforts to stem the flow of illegal migration, making a sustained argument for its economic success despite many Americans’ concerns on affordability, and falsely claiming that he has ended eight wars. He also repeated his false claim that there has been “$18 trillion” in investment in the US during his second presidency."

Recording surfaces of Trump trying to coerce the GA legislature to overturn his 2020 election loss.

It is similar to Trump's hour-long pressure call to the GA Secretary of State Raffensperger trying to coerce him into overturning the election for him.

‘Who’s Gonna Stop You?’ Listen to Trump Press Georgia Speaker Over 2020 Vote.
During much of the 12.5-minute call, President Trump reiterated his claims that he had won Georgia, a state he lost by more than 11,000 votes that year.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/17/us/trump-phone-call-georgia-election.html

    excerpt:

In a newly obtained recording of a phone call from late 2020, President Trump can be heard pressing the speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives to hold a special legislative session to overturn Mr. Trump’s election loss.

After citing false conspiracy theories of election fraud in Georgia, Mr. Trump told David Ralston, the speaker at the time, in the call on Dec. 7, 2020, that he could justify calling a special legislative session by saying it was “for transparency, and to uncover fraud.”

Mr. Trump added, “Who’s gonna stop you for that?”

Trump is asking U.S. oil industry to become involved in Venezuela but it receiving a cold response.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2025/12/17/trump-oil-venezuela-return-00695292

    excerpt:

"The markets, glutted with supply and with prices at nearly five-year lows, are giving President Donald Trump an unusually free hand to tighten military pressure on the South American OPEC member, much the way they largely shrugged off U.S. and Israeli missile strikes on Iran in June. But those prices are also way too low to entice companies to take the risk of pouring huge investments into the crumbling Venezuelan oil facilities that former strongman Hugo Chávez seized decades ago, industry officials and analysts said."

House passes bill without ACA extention.

It means ACA bills will increase significantly for people in 2026.

House passes GOP health care bill without ACA extension

    excerpt:

"The successful discharge petition was a direct rebuke of House Speaker Mike Johnson, who has refused to bring an extension up for a vote. He insisted earlier in the day that he has not lost control of the House."

Trump’s Top Goon Parades Around With Gun in Chicago Return

    excerpt:

From a Home Depot parking lot in Cicero, Bovino told Block Club it was “unknown at this time” how long he would stay and claimed “several hundred” agents had come with him. “It’s going to be a merry Christmas in Chicago,” he said. “We’re going to enforce immigration law, and that’s what we’re doing.”

Trump’s Top Goon Parades Around With Gun in Chicago Return

    excerpt:

“The agents were racing past and creating chaos,” Matt DeMateo, CEO of New Community Church, told Block Club Chicago, describing disruptions near a church holiday food drive. Another resident, Ivan Gonzalez, was quoted by the outlet as saying that agents were “terrorizing this neighborhood.”

Southwest Side rapid response coordinator Anyh Huamani told Block Club: “We witnessed how agents were driving their cars without license plates, the wrong way on the one-way streets, running red lights and just behaving recklessly.”

New data shows 1 in 4 ICE arrests happened in Texas under Trump’s immigration crackdown

    excerpt:

"Medrano’s story is emblematic of how the Trump administration has intensified its immigration enforcement compared to Trump’s first term, which focused largely on the southern border amid a record number of asylum seekers. The administration’s focus has now shifted to Democrat-led states such as California, Illinois and New York, where witnesses have recorded masked ICE agents using force in some cases to arrest people at worksites, immigration courts, commercial parking lots and at their homes.

From Trump’s inauguration to July 29, ICE made 138,068 arrests nationwide, 24% of them in Texas."

How long the farmers and others will keep believing that line remains to be seen. Trump has been saying it for about the past eight years.

During his first term he gave farmers tens of billions of dollars of subsistence checks to try to undo the injury his tariffs caused them.

He's doing it again now. In addition, this time he says he brought in $18 trillion of investments into the U.S. from foreigners after extorting them with his tariffs. According to Trump, that claimed amount of money will be used to build factories in 2026 that will make the job market and economy soar.
