    Contempt of Congress would be a less radical approach than impeachment.

    It's unusual for such a conservative group such as the House Freedom Caucus and many in the Republican party that have historically shown themselves to be suspicious and critical of people like Putin to be wholeheartedly embracing Trump and trying to undermine the investigation. It is comparable to a women's rights group defending serial killer Ted Bundy and trying to thwart his criminal investigation.

    Republican Lindsey Graham In response to Putin awarding Trump a soccer ball during the press conference. -
    "Finally, if it were me, I’d check the soccer ball for listening devices and never allow it in the White House."

    People might want to check the inside of Trump's skull for an implanted device that imparts Putin's voice onto Trump's brain (what there is of it) and not allow it into the White House.

    It's disturbing that portions of the Great Lakes states like Ohio appear to be moving politically and socially toward the fringe. Those states in decades past were pragmatic and middle of the road and produced respectable people like presidents and astronauts. They seemed like the last bastion of hope.

    In all my life I never expected to see anything like what I saw today, a sitting President of the United States siding with the enemy over the US Government.

    Trump is not only a Benedict Arnold (who was a general in the Continental Army before defecting to the British) He’s worse because he’s the commander in chief of all the US forces.
