Thanks for checking that out. First the photo you provided may or may not be the same bookcase, it's hard to tell as we are looking at a different angle and section, if it is the same. The color seems the same and the shelf pin looks the same in both photos, however we can't see the floor and the missing outlet or light switch seems rather shabby for a building in the white House complex. It does appear that it is not the White House, but the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, which is in the White House complex, that's how it was labeled, the EEOB. I think I misread that it was the White House itself. I tried to verify both photos since Spiff pointed out the second one. I can't find verification for either one. I even tried a virtual tour of the EEOB and references to the library. No luck. So Spiffy could be right, and I could be wrong..if anyone can verify in either direction, that would be good.
source of my photo was in the tweet stream of the photo you posted scroll down a ton for george bush era pics of same section where it looks like its just full of whatever books he liked and there is current ones there of the actual library to show its full of books...... #fakenews https://twitter.com/chrislhayes/status/824680714344026112
Anti Trump much? Either way he's doing exactly what he said he was going to do. What was that about him not being able to keep his promises?
The Delusion of Alternative Facts How science can guide the search for "actual" truth in our post-truth era By Susana Martinez-Conde and Stephen L. Macknik on January 27, 2017 https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/illusion-chasers/the-delusion-of-alternative-facts/
We had one in Melbourne last week, guy went nuts, ran over and killed 5 people, including a 3 month old baby Turns out he had stabbed his gay brother earlier that morning whilst keeping his current pregnant girlfriend hostage. But then it had come out he knew brother was gay for some time (very obvious) and reports he'd attended the same nightclub and even kissed some of his male friends Guy was 26 onto his 5th kid already, abandoned the previous ones Greek extraction, grew up in Coober Pedy, a town thats a hell hole, smack bang in the middle of a desert, one of the hottest places on earth A few momentary rants on facebook about Islam apparently Anyway, have a read: http://www.news.com.au/national/victoria/crime/his-dad-called-me-an-aussie-slt-says-old-friend-of-melbourne-driver/news-story/0473cf6f088e080eb770da806765292f Its a whole lot of WTF Try and pin down the root cause of this one, apart from the guy simply being a total c*nt
yeah, historically most of the terrorist that have attacked U.S. targets have been U.S. citizens. Imagine that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism_in_the_United_States http://www.globalresearch.ca/non-muslims-carried-out-more-than-90-of-all-terrorist-attacks-in-america/5333619
Omar Mateen, the Orlando shooter, was born in Queens, NY, the same place Trump was born. Trump mistakenly said he was from Afghanistan.
It might come from American right-wing extremists. https://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/16/opinion/the-other-terror-threat.html excerpt: "Despite public anxiety about extremists inspired by Al Qaeda and the Islamic State, the number of violent plots by such individuals has remained very low. Since 9/11, an average of nine American Muslims per year have been involved in an average of six terrorism-related plots against targets in the United States. Most were disrupted, but the 20 plots that were carried out accounted for 50 fatalities over the past 13 and a half years. In contrast, right-wing extremists averaged 337 attacks per year in the decade after 9/11, causing a total of 254 fatalities, according to a study by Arie Perliger, a professor at the United States Military Academy’s Combating Terrorism Center. The toll has increased since the study was released in 2012."
Ok, its decided then---the ban on Muslim immigrants will be lifted and a new ban on 7 States will be implemented barring any of their citizens from entering the US: Georgia, Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Like Saudi Arabia, it might seem questionable that Florida is not on the list, but just like Saudi Arabia, Trump has numerous holdings in Florida...
High on the list of countries for Trump's terrorism concern should be Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon, and Pakistan, which are the countries of citizenship of the people who committed mass killings in the U.S. since 2001. The Tsarnaev brothers were born in the Kalmyk Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and Kyrgyzstan.
Trump's Muslim ban excludes countries linked to his businesses BY Chris Sommerfeldt NEW YORK DAILY NEWS http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/trump-muslim-ban-excludes-countries-linked-businesses-article-1.2957956 excerpt: "During a campaign rally in Alabama last year, Trump expressed his admiration for the Saudis. “They buy apartment from me,” he said. “They spend $40 million, $50 million. Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much.” Those comments could cock a few eyebrows, since most of the 9/11 attackers were from Saudi Arabia."
I have never hidden my disdain for Trump, he is a national embarrassment. As to what he's done and what he promised: 1. He's not prosecuting Hillary Clinton because he can't, nothing there, never was. 2. He's "repeal" of the ACA is a political gesture designed to fool his ignorant followers. His (illegal) executive order does nothing at all. There is mass confusion over what it means, what to do, and how to do it. I predict a repeal of the name "Affordable Care Act", an attempt at more privatization, and something like what we have now in the end. 3. I'll hold to my prediction on the wall. Trump will start it, run out of funds as Congress refuses to put the burden on the American taxpayers and the whole thing will peter out in the end. Then he'll blame Congress. 4. He's keeping to his racist tendencies here. You got me on this one. With the granting of a full seat on the Security Council to white supremacist Steve Bannon and the demotion of the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff to an invitation only role, Trump has succeeded in politicizing the security of the United States.
