Somehow, his critics are coming off as even crazier than he seems to be. Absolutely obsessed with him. It’s quite extraordinary.

 

Oh, he definitely makes me crazy as hell! I cannot think of one attribute that he has. I'm not goin' through the litany of crap he has pulled, said and done. He is, in my estimation--a no good sonovabitch!! There ya' go. Fuck him. There ya' go again.

"WASHINGTON — William McRaven, the retired four-star admiral who led U.S. Special Operations Command from 2011 to 2014, has resigned from the Pentagon’s technology advisory board following a public critique of President Donald Trump, Defense News has learned.

McRaven resigned from the Defense Innovation Board, a group of technology leaders and innovators tasked with advising the secretary of defense on pertinent issues, on Aug. 20, four days after he posted a scathing op-ed in the Washington Post calling out Trump for revoking the security clearance of former CIA director John Brennan.

“Through your actions, you have embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, humiliated us on the world stage and, worst of all, divided us as a nation,” McRaven wrote to Trump in the Post. “If you think for a moment that your McCarthy-era tactics will suppress the voices of criticism, you are sadly mistaken. The criticism will continue until you become the leader we prayed you would be.”"

The Trump Organization recorded the reimbursement as a legal expense. But Mr. Cohen, Mr. Trump’s longtime fixer, said on Tuesday that he paid Ms. Clifford, better known as Stormy Daniels, to buy her silence during the 2016 campaign. Federal prosecutors have said the reimbursement payments were for sham legal invoices in connection with a nonexistent retainer agreement. Mr. Cohen, who pleaded guilty to federal campaign finance charges, did no legal work in connection with the matter, prosecutors said."

The Trump Administration and DHS has put into motion a new rule that will go into effect after the mid-terms that will allow the government to hold migrant families in detention indefinitely,which in turn will make it easier for a backlogged system to deport families en mass. But what this misses is that fundamentally the economy has been restructured, and more and more people are working multiple jobs, or are under-employed, and many who have stopped looking for work are not even being counted, and that moreover, the largest growth of jobs has come from the service sector. Thus, while many Americans are working, we are more and more working more hours, often in more precarious ways, than ever before, for less and less pay. Meanwhile, the wealth gap between rich and poor has never been bigger and the elites report record profits.

But there’s also signs that post-Trump tax cuts, things may be going from bad to worse. According to a new report in the The Hill which wrote:

Meaning, the government brought in via taxes only 1% more than before, yet there was a 7% increase in spending. Remember that $717 billion gift to the Pentagon we keep talking about. But it gets worse, as:

What this means is that despite all the crap we hear from MAGA muppets about how great the tax cuts are, our taxes actually went up by 4%. We paid into the system $105 billion more than before, while at the same time, taxes paid by corporations, which we make rich by giving our wages to, fell by $71 billion dollars. We should keep in mind, that this is supposed to be the “sweet period;” in the future, taxes on the poor and working/middle classes will increase, while further cuts to corporations and the rich will skyrocket. This reduction in tax revenue will then be used as a backdrop to cut much needed programs like medicare and Medicaid. Meanwhile:

"The gap has widened to 12 percentage points, up from 7 in July — and it is largely because of voters in the Midwest. They have swung 13 points in Democrats' direction since July. That Midwestern shift is consistent with what Marist has found in statewide polls conducted for NBC in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota that showed President Trump's support there starting to erode.

"Every way we are looking at the data, the same general pattern is emerging," said Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist Institute for Public Opinion, which conducted the poll. "The Midwest is an area that is getting restless about what they hoped was going to occur and what they feel is not occurring."

Trump has waged trade wars with several countries, aiming to renegotiate deals and has instituted tariffs on imports that have been met with retaliatory tariffs on exports. Trump might not pardon him if he gives up all the Russian connections and money information and testifies that Trump knew about the Tower meetings with that Russian lawyer, and says Trump's boys were complicit, and says Trump told Sessions to talk with the Russians, and says Cohen was dispatched to Prague to meet Russians? He already gave up all his bank accounts and real estate holdings to save his own ass. You never know Mr. T, Manafort might even give up his Ostrich skin sport jacket...and sing to the tune of Marty Robbins's, "A White Sport Coat and a Pink Carnation!"

 

I saw an article about the poor people in Arkansas who are being forced off Medicaid and other help...thousands of them...because of Trump/Pence policies. It should reflect at the ballot box...would think?
