Exclusive: White House preparing draft national emergency order, has identified $7 billion for wall
By Priscilla Alvarez and Tammy Kupperman, CNN
Updated 5:57 PM ET, Thu January 24, 2019

Exclusive: White House preparing draft national emergency order, has identified $7 billion for wall - CNNPolitics

    excerpt:

""Now, therefore, I, Donald J. Trump, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C 1601, et seq.), hereby declare that a national emergency exists at the southern border of the United States," the draft adds.

The draft was updated as recently as last week, a US government official told CNN.

According to options being considered, the administration could pull: $681 million from Treasury forfeiture funds, $3.6 billion in military construction, $3 billion in Pentagon civil works funds, and $200 million in Department of Homeland Security funds, the official said."

I watched most of his Zleazocrat speech. First he thanked the federal workers and America people, saying that he had agreed to open the government for three weeks. Then he said he'd use extortion again and shut it down again if he don't get his way. Then he gave all sorts of irrational reasons and examples to support his claim that a wall is needed. One of these examples was about Mexican smugglers taping women's mouths and faces to bring them into the USA. It was a sure sign of mental illness. He must be rattled hard after the arrest of Rodger Stone. That one makes number six of Trump's closest associates to get charged by the Special Counsel.

Farmers (already damaged by Trump's trade war) and natural disaster victims like those in FL and TX don't like the idea of using their relief funds to build Trump's wall, the one he said Mexico would finance.

"The draft document cites Title 10 of the US Code, which allows Trump to unlock a stash of Pentagon funds that are earmarked but have no signed contracts for spending that money. That would give the President authority to pull from military construction funds and civil works projects, like infrastructure repair projects."

Regardless of your politics a man that age speaking the way he does likely has a brain issue.

When I see interviews of him in the 80's he is still kind of an asshole but his vocabulary is very different. Now I can see he struggles with his thoughts and he's paranoid. The classic old man yelling that the Mexican nurse stole his weeding ring. No matter how many times his daughter says "dad it's in your drawer". It seriously reminds me of my own grandfather.

My friend John was born in Cabin, Colorado, in 1906. He passed away in 1991. He was a great and good friend to me. He showed me where to find gold on Independence Mountain. He loved the Rocky Mountains and the healthy life they offered. He was very healthy and alert until his passing. When I listened to Trump speak, I immediately suspected the food and water at Mar-A-Lago.

Sanders says Stone indictment has nothing to do with Trump
    By Veronica Stracqualursi, CNN

Sanders says Stone indictment has nothing to do with Trump

    excerpt:

"Sanders was asked several times by CNN on Friday if the President was the one who directed a senior campaign official to contact Stone.

She reiterated each time that the charges against Stone "have nothing to do with the President."

"When you want to get into specific questions, you'll have to talk to the President's outside counsel on that," she said, adding that she hadn't read the indictment against Stone.

Sanders also told CNN that she was not aware of the White House receiving any notice from the Justice Department that the FBI would arrest Stone on Friday morning.

When pointed to the fact that Stone is the sixth Trump associate charged in the Mueller investigation, Sanders said all the charges against each individual do not have anything to do with Trump.

"Just because they had some association with the President at some point doesn't mean things that they did in their private lives and their personal lives that may or may not have been right or wrong, that doesn't have anything to do with the President," she said."

Roger Stone indictment: Is this all Mueller has, or is he closing in on Trump?
Analysis: The charges do not allege Russian coordination, but Mueller might be building a conspiracy case.

Roger Stone indictment: Is this all Mueller has, or is he closing in on Trump?

    excerpt:

"Prosecutors never put all of their evidence into an indictment," said Joyce Vance, a former U.S. attorney in Alabama and an NBC News contributor. "Just because this indictment doesn't slap you in the face with a conspiracy doesn't mean Mueller doesn't have that evidence."

Vance added, "Could this be the endpoint? Maybe, but this doesn't look like a capstone indictment. It leaves too many un-pulled threads."

Glenn Kirschner, another former federal prosecutor and NBC News contributor, went further:

"This is a conspiracy indictment," he said. "He just left out the conspiracy charges."

In an effort to induce Stone to cooperate, Kirschner believes, Mueller filed a basic set of charges that allowed him to arrest Stone in a pre-dawn raid with heavily armed FBI agents.

If Stone fails to flip, Kirschner and other experts theorize, Mueller will file a superseding indictment in a few weeks detailing much more serious charges. Mueller followed that pattern in the case of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, observers point out.

If his top lieutenants are guilty, and Adam Schiff gets the cell phone record which happened right after that meeting with the Russian Lawyer who showed up at the Trump tower with dirt on Hillary...well...it sounds like he's the Ring Master.

Commentary: Is President Trump Causing Toxic Stress?
    Dominic Sisti & Cynthia Baum-Baicker

ScattergoodEthics – “Is President Trump Causing Toxic Stress?”

    excerpts:

"Since his election victory, President Trump has infused stress and uncertainty into virtually every facet of American life. From travel and immigration, to healthcare, to small businesses and investment markets, his erratic behavior leaves millions of people wondering what is next. At the same time he and his surrogates flatly deny saying and doing things that were actually recorded. Offering “alternative facts” blurs the line between reality and fantasy and is a common form of abuse sometimes called gaslighting.

Thanks to cabinet nominees who represent the undoing of the very institutions for which they’ve been selected to lead, huge numbers of Americans now worry about losing civil liberties, economic recession, the degradation of public education, environmental destruction, blurred boundaries between church and state, and nuclear war. President Trump has told people they cannot trust the media. Who, then, is our protection? Who can be trusted? Can anyone? Who is the enemy? Without trust, the socioemotional world becomes a dangerous place; the natural outgrowth of which is a sense of paranoia.

The US President, as with any wise leader, should be a stabilizing force and provide reliable ballast in an often chaotic and dangerous world. Instead, we find this President creating conditions that exacerbate feelings of profound disquiet and peril. As a result, it is quite possible that he is inflicting long-term serious psychosocial harm on millions of Americans."

I have a theory that if trump is reelected( I don't think he will be) people will start adhering to the Stockholm syndrome.

People in the U.S. need to ask themselves if all of this damage inflicted onto them by Trump is worth it for the sake of defending his ego that was bruised by Ann Coulter.

It will be a permanent 2,000 mile long, 30 foot high, big beautiful concrete wall that will begin to be constructed on day one and finished quickly, and Mexico will pay for.
And...anytime Mexicans protest...it will become 10 feet taller!
It will have a beautiful door in it.
    It might get funded later.
    Mexico will reimburse us.
    A wall (fence) works.
A fence is not a wall, BIG difference!
    It'll be steel slats...not a fence!
I never said the wall has to be concrete.
NAFTA light will pay for the wall.
The American taxpayers will pay for the wall.
I never said the wall has to be 2,000 miles long.
Congress will give me the money to pay for the wall.
    I'll take 800,000 Americans hostage!
    Please.
    I'll hold my breath!
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
Okay for now Nancy, but if I don't get my money in 3 weeks I'll steal the cash from the Defense Department, or maybe the disaster relief fund.
But let's be clear, I'm the president and the president can do anything he wants...and I want a wall!

Newsweek just reported that 17 members of Trump's campaign had over 100 contacts with Russians right before the inauguration. Does that sound like the mysterious C word?

Sarah Sanders would likely say that it had nothing to do with Trump.
