Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, has pressed Ukrainian officials about the Burisma investigation and encouraged them to investigate the Bidens.

Other than helping Trump cast a fog of suspicion over Biden’s candidacy, it’s unclear exactly what Ukrainian authorities could do. There’s no public evidence that any of the previously closed investigations implicated Hunter Biden in any wrongdoing. And if Joe Biden improperly intervened on behalf of his son, that would be a potential U.S. offense, not a Ukrainian one.

Yuriy Lutsenko, who succeeded Shokin as prosecutor general, said in May that he was planning to hand information to U.S. law enforcement officials about payments made by Burisma so they could check whether Hunter Biden paid tax on that income. But that, too, would be a U.S. matter. And no information has surfaced to suggest any wrongdoing related to the payments.

On the July call with Trump, Zelenskiy said he would appoint a new prosecutor general and pledged that “he or she will look into the situation” involving Biden. But at a joint press conference with Trump in New York on Wednesday, the Ukraine president said he had not asked his prosecutor general to look into the matter."

 

They will try to sweep this under the carpet and put it behind them, insisting it was merely the inspiration of one madman. Democrats may attempt to take the opportunity to lambast the republican party, but pointing fingers at the fact that nobody actually represents the mindless mob anymore would be to shoot themselves in the foot. The public is so gullible the only thing they demand is calm reassurances from both parties that all is well again and it was just a random issue and, of course, the stock market going up again. They want billionaire politicians who are all treated like reality TV royalty, to represent the mindless mob instead of democracy.

Congress may have to resort to using secret votes to keep their internal security secure from themselves.

"Concern at the embassy mounted, and by 2016, officials there began suggesting the Obama administration push for the prosecutor general’s ouster. In particular, the embassy suggested that $1 billion in loan guarantees the country hoped to receive from the US in order to stay solvent should be tied to a tougher anti-corruption strategy that involved removing officials seen as blocking progress, namely Shokin.

It wasn’t just the US that wanted Shokin gone, either — many other Western European officials, including the IMF’s then-managing director Christine Lagarde, also insisted Ukraine was doing far too little about corruption.

So in March 2016, Biden says he told the Ukrainian government that their loan guarantees would be cut off unless they removed Shokin. He told the story at a session at the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours,” Biden told his audience. “I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’”

The former vice president said after the threat, “Well, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.”

But though Biden may have taken credit for it, this was hardly his unique idea. “Everyone in the Western community wanted Shokin sacked,” Anders Aslund, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, told the Wall Street Journal. “The whole G-7, the IMF, the EBRD, everybody was united that Shokin must go, and the spokesman for this was Joe Biden.”

The people of Ukraine wanted Shokin gone as well, and demonstrated for his removal around the time of Biden’s threat. Shortly after that demonstration, Shokin was dismissed."

 

The Ukraine think of themselves as the liberal half of Russia, their version of California or Singapour. They are a safe target for Donald Duck to attack, because they oppose Putin.

You don't need to know anything, because your voice and vote no longer matter, while even your constitutional rights barely exist anymore, and this is an internal affair of the wealthy country club running our government. They will try to sweep as much of this under the carpet as possible, and even insist they are doing so to protect the country, with over half of Americans insisting the corporations and government lie to them for their own protection. They will simply say nobody will benefit from the truth coming out, its a threat to National Security, and insist throwing the bum out of office is all that is required to address the situation, and its more important for the country to move on.

Country Clubs full of lawyers don't air their internal problems in public, and the idea that either party gives a shit about justice is too far fetched to contemplate. They will hash out a deal that satisfies both democrats and republicans to throw the bum out of office ASAP, because he's the worst loose cannon on deck imaginable and has already done enough damage, but some democrats will want to drag it out to give Donald Duck all the time he requires to make a complete idiot of the entire republican base. If he does ruin the economy again, he may ensure the democrats have another dynasty on their hands and control the white house for decades to come, while the republican party is relegated to congress or even pushed back into the house again. Its a push-me-pull-you, with republicans guaranteed to screw up repeatedly and get pushed back into the dirt, which is why Obama used the old Rope-A-Dope. Give the assholes enough rope, and any lynch party will hang itself.

 

You can ask all you want, but whether you can get away with it is another thing, and Donald Duck is on everybody's shit list.

 

Now that we know AG William Barr was referenced by the President during the phone call to the Ukrainian leader as the point of contact in the investigation of the Biden’s, shouldn’t he now recuse himself?

There's absolutely no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of the Biden's, and when Giuliani is pressed on facts, he only repeats the narrative.

 

That's like asking if supreme court members should all recuse themselves. There is no higher court of appeals, except the mindless mob storming the palace.

All around the mulberry bush, the monkey chased the weasel, the mindless mob thought all was in fun, PoP! Goes the Weasel! We need all the good smack talk we can get for this circus. Clown law demands it. According to the constitution, congress cannot be more powerful than the executive branch or the courts. Congress literally cannot convict all the supreme court justices of being traitors, even you caught them red handed, without declaring martial law first.

They will have to drag this out in deliberation and give the democrats time to goad Donald Duck into making even more fuckups and making the entire republican base look like flaming idiots out to destroy the entire world. They need as much smack to use against them as possible, to set up their own dynasty.

There is no fucking integrity to the office anymore, unless you consider defending Donald Duck destroying the world in the name of the mindless mob something worth defending. Your votes no longer matter, your constitution is shredded, and Donald Duck even cut the mass media a deal on their rent, while Fox News is legally entertainment. It has not mattered in the least who is elected to congress for roughly 30 years. You are never going to get anything you want, only whatever they deem good for you to know. Obama expanded the healthcare system, but only because the crap hit the fan so hard they had to come up with something to at least appease the mindless mob and calm the markets.

Trump invoked an impeachment inquiry in part by using the power of his office to solicit a foreign government to pursue an old debunked truther theory about a supposed missing server owned by a wealthy Ukraine person that has information on it that he thinks could be used to damage his political rival Biden in the 2020 election.

 

It's curious why Trump hasn't publicly petitioned his attorney general Barr to investigate Biden directly (or Hillary, which he promised to do in the 2016 campaign if elected but didn't). If they have any merit, the claims Trump is making about Biden pertain to U.S. law and could be addressed appropriately and transparently within the U.S. legal system.

Instead, Trump is engaging in a murky deep state that involves government officials in Ukraine and his personal attorney Giuliani acting as a quasi foreign agent who's not even in his administration. It has commonality with his clandestine payments to Stormy Daniels when he used his personal attorney Cohen as a surrogate to try to protect his campaign. This time it's Giuliani instead of his now convicted and incarcerated Cohen.

 

Giuliani has always practically bragged about how dirty he is willing to get, and how eager he is to do whatever it takes. He's the junkyard dog that Donald Duck could not help but recognize as a kindred spirit with no scruples whatsoever and enough money to avoid ever setting foot in jail.
