I am just curious. Is the conservative train of thought an acquired personality disorder, or an inherited one?

Trump launches evangelical coalition after strike on Iranian military leader

    excerpt:

"President Trump marked the launch of his "Evangelicals for Trump" coalition at El Rey Jesus Church in Miami Friday, the day after he ordered a deadly strike on Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran's elite Quds military force and one of the most powerful figures in the Islamic Republic.

"Soleimani has been killed and his bloody rampage is now forever gone," the president said during his speech at the church, adding Soleimani had been plotting attacks but they've been "stopped for good."

"He was planning a very major attack, and we got him," the president told a supportive audience."

Trump was eating ice cream at Mar-a-Lago when he received news of the U.S. strike that killed Iranian officials in Iraq. At least he didn't brag about it being the best ice cream he had ever eaten.

He bragged about his 'most beautiful' chocolate cake while at Mar-a-Lago when he ordered a missile strike on Syria while he was having dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Trump appears to have a preference for taking advantage of airports and airbases to attack people.

The missile strike that killed Iranian officials at Bacghdad International Airport in Iraq is the latest.

He bombed an Shayrat Airbase in Syria (the incident where he bragged about his 'most beautiful' chocolocate cake while ordering the strike).

He spoiled the Congressional delegation trip to visit U.S. troops in Afghanistan by canceling their military flight while they were on their way to the airport. It was an expression of his frustration with Speaker of the House Pelosi who informed him that it wouldn't be good for him to do his State of the Union address in Congress during the government shutdown that he started over his border wall money.

Let's see how this plays out in the long run. Trump divides the American public with partisan rhetoric, ignores the House of Representatives, antagonizes our allies, pushes his America first agenda, trashes the "Deep State" consisting of our intelligence and diplomatic services, fills the key positions in the national security administration with temps, then launches the assassination strike against a key Iranian leader to the applause of Troglodytes for Trump and expects it all to turn out well. We'll see. Observers who are inclined toward rational thought and traditional knowledge about statecraft and international politics may be inclined to be skeptical.

The conservative train of thought or the radical populist/nativist train of thoughtlessness characteristic of the Trumpies? There seem to be a lot of ADHD, ICD, and BPD types in that bunch, including Trump himself. But by and large, the bulk of them are rational--just bigoted. "Racism is evil, but it is not idiotic from the point of view of racists. White racists see themselves as benefitting from Trump’s proposal to shore up the old racial status quo. Their value system deserves to be challenged, but they aren’t being fooled by Trump. They know what he’s selling and they like it." Are Donald Trump’s supporters idiots?
The single best predictor of Trump support in the GOP primary was the absence of a college degree. Who Are Donald Trump's Supporters, Really? And they feel powerless and threatened by outsiders.Who Are Donald Trump's Supporters, Really? They generally fit into at least five categories: (1) reluctants, who saw Trump as the lesser of evils to Hillary; (2) watchdogs, who feel threatened by the outsiders (immigrants & racial minorities); (3) swamp drainers, who wanted someone unconventional to shake up the system; (4) cultists, who are basically mindless Trump worshipers; and (5) yes, the deplorables (racists, sexists, greedy 1 per centers. We might add a sixth category: single-issue evangelicals, who are willing to follow Trump so long as he keeps giving them those judges.

Has anyone noticed that Trump doesn't believe any of our intelligence services about Russia interfering with the elections, but he does believe Iran was planning a very major attack?

    I assume Rudy told him.

When you partisan fanatics talk and act like that, you undermine the constitutional norms that hold this country together. Congress is a co-equal branch of government, and no previous President operated on the groundless basis that leaders of the opposition party can't be trusted or are to be viewed as potential traitors. BTW are you an American?

Notice you got it wrong again.
Trump didn't tell the Gang of eight, made up of Four Republicans and four Democrats.

Or maybe he played politics and told the Republicans but not the Democrats....but the Republicans aren't saying.
    Chicken shit boot lickers.
