That's a little unfair. The world wars don't count as wins because we had help, but the rest count as losses despite help? How do you rationalize that?
Cohen and Trump were supposedly the champions of a transparent administration dating back to 2011. Cohen went to prison and helped orchestrate a clandestine hush money payment plan for Trump. Trump is still refusing to turn over his tax documents needed for impeachment and criminal investigations. The Supreme Court will hear the arguments. As president, Trump sings a different tune on ‘transparency’ Columbia Journalism Review By Philip Eil January 31, 2017 As president, Trump sings a different tune on ‘transparency’ excerpt: "During the height of his “birther” zeal, Donald Trump went on a prolonged campaign in favor of open government. He tweeted about transparency. He went on national TV to talk about transparency. He wrote to The New York Times explaining his passion for transparency. At one point, he even pledged to donate millions of dollars if President Obama released various personal documents to prove his US citizenship. The contrast between President Trump’s past words and recent behavior may not be surprising, but it is staggering—and important. It is perhaps his greatest feat of hypocrisy. The transparency talk started as early as March of 2011, when longtime Trump attorney Michael Cohen defended Trump’s requests for Obama’s birth certificate and said, “What [Trump] is is a person who demands transparency, which is what the [President Obama’s] platform was all about when he decided to run.” Cohen voiced similar concerns in a separate interview with ABC that same week."
reread what I said. Furthermore, when a country decides to go to war, it should consider the ramifications of said war, and not just the benefits.
Ok. Reread it. It still doesn't answer my question. The wins dont count cuz we had help but the losses do despite help. How does that work?
You need to reread what I said. Furthermore, when a country decides to go to war, it should consider the ramifications of said war, and not just the benefits. You don't understand my point, which is that 'Murcia considers those losses, wins. Let's put it this way. Did 'murica win the Vietnam War, the first Gulf War?
But you know it wasn't just the US so that is kind of a trick question. I think we were mostly alone during Vietnam tho. I mean, I know we kinda just picked up where France left off but I think there were other UN nations involved there. The Gulf War was a rout from day 1
No, we only returned because Georgie boy made up some bs excuse that Iraq had something to do with 9/11; and rumor has it that he felt he had to go back and finish the job his daddy didn't do.
This morning I saw on the news that Mike Pence said Soleimani was responsible for 911. Don't you just love them fine upstanding Christians of the Republican Party?
Pence's recent accusation stated 12 hijackers when there were 19. Since 2001, politicians desperately continue to invoke misinformation about 9/11 to try to justify killing officials that they don't like, from Saddam to Soleimani. Mike Pence gets basic 9/11 facts wrong while defending Iran attack By Oliver Willis January 3, 2020 4:38 PM Mike Pence gets basic 9/11 facts wrong while defending Iran attack excerpt: "Pence also incorrectly stated the number of terrorists involved in the worst terrorist attack in American history, which claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people. There were 19, not 12, hijackers who committed the attacks. Most of the attackers were from Saudi Arabia, with the others coming from Egypt, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates. Not Iran."
The fit has hit the shan. Trump is threatening to strike 52 Iranian targets if Iran retaliates for the killing of the general. Do you think Iran won't retaliate? Do you think Trump won't carry out his threat in an election year? Then what?
The big problem, though, was not getting the number of terrorists wrong but in saying Iran and Gen. Soleimani were involved--reminiscent of Dick Cheney's claim that Iraq and Saddam were involved in 9/11.
I get it. What the meme is saying is that there are places in Iran the US will attack. Gosh, the US is badass, and, gee, that's really clever.
