the doors

    why thank you! That is perhaps the best complament I've recieved in a long time. yes, for my age I do have an odd taste in music. But I wave my freak flag high!;) I've found that a few young people where I live share my interests, so it's cool to discuss stuff with them. However it's also nice to talk to those who have totally different interests because I can open them up to new things (like The Doors) and I can learn things from them and discover new bands that I never would've found otherwise. Anyway, thank you very much LivingWater you seem like quite the hip chick yourself!:)

    yeah, he plays nothing like densmore. stewart copeland plays MUCH better.

    From what I have read, and the tales I have heard, Densmore sucks. He didn't fit in with the band very much. His outlook was way more uptight than it should have been for being a member of the legendary Doors.
    I think he was a good drummer and all, but he still was an asshole. Still probably is too.

    I saw the 21st Century Doors, and it was phenomenonal. I posted about it in another thread in the music forum, so I won't go through the whole story again.

    my dad went to see them once but he can't remember if they turned up or not :p
