that's actually a really nice design. it holds by the icing because the cookie is crumbly.

 

I say sticking your fingers in the milk is half the fun.

And besides, if the cookie breaks off and sinks, you can still get at it after you drink the milk. It's just a little extra soggy by then, lol.
