The attraction of fishing for those ugly things especially at night is lost on me, sometimes "Big ain't beautiful". Still, fisheries here are stocking them and a few end up in rivers. The roll of the dice, you could have been born one of those:)

Watched Chris Tarrant fish a place like that in the Yukon , only way to get there was by floatplane. The Lake was frozen over most of the year and the fishing fantastic, the only intruders being the wildlife. Love it.
Then again the sunshine states have great fishing, would suit me fast boats, clear water and bikini-clad sun-tanned girls. What a grey cold miserable place the UK is in comparison lifestyle.
Only caught a 500lb Marlin today, ha ha.

Just be cautious of the mantis man! I hear he is far more dangerous. ;)

I love trout. Even more rewarding when you catch your own to eat.

I'm always going to take a wardrobe with me when I go fishing for the social media part. I wonder if he was allowed to keep the fish. I would then turn the fishing social media part in to a cooking social media part and then turn that in to an social media interview as I share the meal with a social media celebrity. Now that's what I call big fish!
