I know, your going to post a flood of links to blogs as sources.
And wonder why no one can take you serious.
At NO time"this year' were the US wheat reserves below 8.3 Million Metric Tonnes

what does that have to do with reserves? nothing.. reserves are in case of a major crop failure. or of course to manipulate the price..

supply and demand mean nothing in the context of a major crop failure..

Be fair, I read your links try reading mine.

If you had you would have seen how much "beginning stocks" the US has "reserves".

BTW,2009 even tho production is down it still will be the 2nd largest harvest on record.

That's why i posted a link to Harvest Reports, not estimates.

Links to blogs are a waste of time, for you and me.

    China

    Link

If you look at the graph and read the first link you would see China has enough Wheat reserves for about 4 months.

Well it's a hell a lot more than the zero.

On a national level that's pretty damn good, IMO.

if they would have went through with the sale to ccc it would have been near zero. i was not aware it was canceled.

my whole point was and is, if you have a 30% or more failed harvest in the northern hemisphere you have price spikes and shortages, you have a bad harvest the following year and you have catastrophe.

it could happen,if they dont get a handle on the wheat blight it could happen sooner than any of us care to imagine.

So HH the fact that you got conned the last 257 times someone told you the world was going to end doesn't make you any more sceptical when the 258th time rolls around?

im sure when it comes it will be lots of crops failing at once. usually disease or bad weather affects more than just one thing..
