    My uncle took me when i was 6 a few months before Jerry died. I dont remember it at all but he says I was groovin the whole time.

    He also took me to some phish shows in '97. I haven't looked back since. SCI has melted my face a few times as well.

    I meant it in the sense that the whole thread basically said that they liked/loved the Dead, and then he said they sucked.

    Big Dead fan. Got to see them live in DC last week, well...sort of (without Jerry, of course). It was awesome.

    One of my biggest life's regrets is that I never got the chance to see the Grateful Dead live. I've seen the Dead twice so far, RatDog twice and Phil Lesh and Friends twice.

    That would be me.......As one of the older ones here I can say that I did. In Greatful Dead circles I am considered a Touch of Greyer. In otherwords someone who was introduced to them when that album came out. Just the fact that I called it an Album should tell you how old I am.

    They are doing a show here in Chicago soon but of course it's not the same.
