i remember when this was new. i think i was somewhere between 12 and 16. i don't remember the year for sure. i just remember it was a theme from a movie and both won some awards, the guy who wrote it wrote a bunch of other movie themes. i don't think i ever saw the movie it was from either. ok, 63 it says right there, well that could just be when this live recording was made, so, 48 to 63, i was 15.

Yeah, this movie was on the tv the other day. I did not watch it...but heard the beginning music of the movie and it was wine and roses. I thought it sounded beautiful...and the melody kept going through my head....so i put in Wine and roses on u-tube and put the one with words here by Andy Williams. Many people sang it , also..... Henry Mancini wrote it. He wrote so many beautiful pieces of music.

Minxy cat was so cute rubbing her head against my face while I was singing this to her......wanting more kisses. She loves when I kiss her on her head.....
