I saw the remake and i didnt think that it was scary, it was just gross and also pretty pointless

I hate Craven's film, soooo boring, but Alexandra Aja did a spectacular job. I'm all about the gore, and it had copious amounts. Plus I was a fan of his previous film, High Tension.

I havent seen the remake, but I saw the original Hills Have Eyes in the theaters back in the 70's. It was an excellent film, as was Mother's Day, and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I am just so tired of remakes. Hollywood seems to have run out of ideas and they are remaking everything, and I think this is a shame as many movies should not be spoiled by the remake garbage of today.

I watched the second one at the weekend. It was terrible...only went for a laugh, but I didn't even laugh that much.

I hated the first one for the simple fact that Beauty (the German Shepherd) got killed but, i also like it cause Beast got revenge on those fucked up fuckers.. I haven't seen the second one and i don't think i will!

I saw this by myself in a good state of mind around 11:30 am, when I used to get up real early. And I laughed at the whole movie and at the scores of people walking out of it.

I'd rate this movie as trash. But it's good to make fun of. This movie will not age past 5 years well. lol

I AGREE! The second one was fucking stupid. I had to force myself to watch it all the way through.

    Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

Any horror film that's based around disgust and jump-scares sucks.

Check out The Shining and Session 9. Now those are horror films.

The scariest part of this film for many was the opening credits. haha

Never would put myself through the second one, I felt bad that I watched the first one, it was a let down remake, though remakes are never as good as the original... Though, it wasn't horribly bad but definitely not as good as the original and a movie I'd just watch once...
