I was a little carried away..but even if you have lived in other countries what does that prove. Surely you can see we are not nearly as bad as other countries. hold on my own resources come from living in 1 of USA biggest city and dealing with gun bissnes for 15 years . if a article is very close or right on the money then i well bother to paste it . i just dont surf and copy the first thing i see on the subject but it sure saves me a lots of time . i also have a conceal weapon license. dont think i live in some quiet little town in the USA or a rich upper class Hood. I SEEN riots , i seen what a natural disaster do like Hurricanes when you are not going to see a cop for months to comes. "they are never there even in the perfect weather" so is not like im thinking out of my ass on the gun subject.

Is it really worth me carrying on if your just going to come up with things which make the discussion drift into unessasery debates.

Dont get me wrong, I find guns fascinating but there are so many better ways to kill sumone and atleast it would be a bit of a fairer fight that way.

If your so paranoid over your life, i suggest you take up "muay thai" lessons and Bring your mind, body and spirit into one and live the pleasure of trusting your self with your own life. Just a suggestion.

 

I LIKE the brits very much i just try to warn you . you dont have likes guns to own one is a tool just like hammer . im not paranoid . yes you could use a 4x4 truck . and last when you go up against a real criminal the last thing in his head is a fair fight . good luck im sure you get wiser with time.

also your only 29 years old when you turn 55 or 60 or became disable "car accident ,job related ,health etc, and a criminal breaks in to your house "a young healthy athetlic criminal " come back to me , in the mean while smoke another crack pipe for me. forget cops more criminals are shot dead by citizens than cops. well here that is. this is 1 of the largest USA city and on a very rare ocassion we hear of a cop fatal shooting on a criminal. and you cant compare our fast pace of living with that of the U.K . MATTER of fact if you think england have a low crime rate "that we know is not true" then compare your self with cuba . in cuba a violent crime is really rare. But would you move to cuba?

 

So our gun laws should be based on the possibility that some old lady/gent can't defend themselves.. If that was the logic then we would be properly screwed. Yes i am 29 does that mean i can defend myself if some nut job starts waving a gun in my face or if they decied to creep in my house and knock seven shades of shit out of me, and can't feel any pain i may or not inflict because they either don't care or they are so full of drugs they can't feel a thing. I am just as vulnerable as a older person.

The 'cops' refrence was a joke .. though being a joke, you can identify your point of who does what to whom. I have no problem if the police wish to carry guns as such, they have a level of training and accountability and restraint. Not as much 'popping caps in asses'.. cops having guns is still part of the vicious cycle imho. If it was all a question of 'protection' then you may have a point .. The fact is people carry guns around for the wrong reasons, and the whole mentality you guys have is aggresive imho.. Forget Cuba, go live in Canada for a while.
