'Keyhole' has been mentioned here. Don't think that what you as the public see with this program is the same as what the government can see. Obviously they won't publish their secret spy material.

Also, the word "hacker" has been used incorrectly. If you wanted to say "somebody who breaks into your computer" you meant "cracker". The terminology here is very important.

As my sig says, hackers fight babylon on the digital front. They are the ones who created the internet, as a tool for free press and free international communication. Hackers are warriors for freedom. They are fighting against corporate monopolies by making free, open source software. And, with sites like Slashdot, they are fighting for freedom of speech.

The internet, though not what it used to be, is still a very important tool for free speech here. Think of all the anti-Bush sites, anti-corporate sites, pro drug sites, psychedelic and drug guides... Sure, in the 60's you could just ask a friend or get a book, or read some free press, but nowdays it's not so easy. Imagine a person living in a small town. Where would he get real information? The news? The government? Schools?

We need the internet in this day and age, to maintain our freedom. At the same time, it's important not to spend too much time in front of the computers and go outside! Being educated about the problems of our world is important, but DOING something is also important!

Don't forget that in this world, where the government wants us away from nature, the internet is a great tool for finding nature, and other outdoor locations. When I'm about to go camping, I try to find a place with uninterrupted nature, and use the internet to find it. I learned about the martial arts system that I train in now from the internet. I've been reading tips on meditation and yoga on the web.

i agree kids should spend more time outside as well adults. the problem is quite serius back in early 70s it was not easy to find a obese kid "with in certain ethinc groups". today im shock i see very young kids FAT , 6 year old 8, 10 and teens. our groupy was very large i say around 80 and not 1 of us was over weight. sitting behind a computer all day and eating dont help. tv , XBOX etc. i realize the jokes about americans by europeans are quite true . by the way i heard a few europeans country allready have join the fat legion too.
