I could talk about the finer points of running a rotex bed and a titus and expellers and cage mills and it would be babble for 99% of the world but make perfect sense to me.

 

To be a little clear i know you were talking about some prize for a store or something like that. I just exagerated my not understanding what it was all about.

My new million dollar idea: Grateful Dead strip club. Customers love it because a "dance" comes with a 20 min song and not a radio friendly one. The only problem is every girl will want to go by Sugaree lol.

 

baby busted the bouncy seat. theres no fixing it. it would be cool if i could repurpose it, but i dont think i can.

on the plus side, trash that cant be repurposed is easy to let go of. i hope he gets an activity thing for christmas. now he REALLY needs one. giant baby.


i have a great idea, but if i share it someone nefarious might steal it before i have the start-up- capital to do it.
but i will gladly share my idea for a cut. 10% maybe? but it would be better to build a first one and then franchise additional locations.

Eons ago I had just started working for a retail chain as an assistant manager. I had only been there about 10 days when I had to go to some huge management meeting. Managers from all over So. Cal were there, about 200+ people.
Well when you went in for lunch everyone got a raffle ticket. During lunch they started calling out the numbers and giving out prizes, every time someone was called out you get all kinds of hoots and hollers from folks cheering and jeering other managers (yes, alcohol was served ). So they then announce they are at the final prize, a $500 Best Buy gift card.
My number gets called, and all the usual hoopla was replaced with a general "who da fuck is that?", both figuratively and literally.
So I make my way up to the stage to half-hearted and confused applause as they wondered "who the fuck is this "newbie outsider" comin' in here and taking the grand prize?"..........LOL

whatever, I had a nice X-Mas that year..

On my way to a sleater-kinney concert in nyc. On a crowded annoying train at the moment.

 

They are really popular. I never heard of them before Portlandia but I was not a huge fan anyway when I looked them up. I am sure it will be a good show.

 

ive never heard of them at all but im old enough to know 99.9% of concerts are fun anyway so its good to hear one of us is having fun this weekend

 

Okay... I'm ready for Spring now.

Guess I'll grow some sprouts this weekend. It isn't playing in the dirt but it'll be green stuff growing in the kitchen. Not Chia sprouts. Grew them last time and I'm not fond of the taste. Radish sprouts or broccoli.

75 gals of ACV brewing at the moment... which I can stretch into 10 or 20 more.

I like all concerts and gigs. But many times I cannot really remember the bands but rather all the talk you have with friends and new friends you made before it started.

 

Ugh I don't want to go to work today... this seems like as good a place as any to whine about it.
