sun is out today, its really lovely. the snow rarely sticks around long. it was where the one plow had piled it, where the wind across the park had lifted and redeposited it, and no one had made a path yet. my sidewalks are already melted. the other benefit is that 90% of the time its a dry snow. bad for snowmen and forts and stuff like that, but much easier to shovel, and perfect for skiing, if thats what you are into. when there is a good wet snow i make a point to get out there in it. there are areas that get less snow out here. this particular storm was moving against the steeper front range, which causes a kind of stalling effect. the storm just got pressed up against the mountains and kept dumping snow. thats not how the weather usually moves here. but by the end of the day most of the roads will be clear. they say if you dont like the weather, wait 10 minutes or drive 10 miles.

One year, the mailman delivered my gift to hubby on a Sunday, which was Christmas Eve.

I think I cried.

I should get one of those truck plows and have a side hustle like all the other guys I see around here. The road to my house is dirt and never plowed but in town these guys do it for parking lots I guess. But I have a little Ford Ranger they all have the manly diesel F350 trucks that make mine look like a toy. I don't know if mine could even hold a plow like that.

everyone is always bugging me to plow their driveways but i always say no because it just takes one small accident and youre totally screwed if you dont have commercial insurance

Really? I did not know about needing special insurance too. Maybe I will leave this one as a stoned thought and nothing more.

 

been having weird eye problems .. lots of crusty stuff, twitching, blurred vision ... oh well. dont feel like giving med express 100, for them to tell me just an allergy .. rip off artists.

 

I really hate diagnoses sometimes.

 

could be conjunctivitis? It's your eyes, don't mess with them.
I think any doctor bill for the eyes is worth it even if it is just allergies. Trust me.

 

i got it! im so happy! gotta start laundry now, but the colors are perfection. its even got a handwritten thank you note for making the purchase. who does that anymore? im just totally tickled to get it broken in. i will post pictures, i promise so happy.

i killed time drinking and setting up the tree. now i get to go through ornaments while the wrap washes. what an evening i have ahead of me, lol
