My xmas morning was spent down at the creek. I love talking to the creek. Morning coffee.. morning cig... creek talk. Yep. It's like spring out there today, too.. so the weather cooperated.

My book is kind of stalled at the moment. I was thinking maybe I'd start up an organic gardening thread here or something. Teach people worm farming. Or maybe start a thread on what to look for and how to buy your wilderness homestead. Or maybe get off my arse and get back to working on the book. heh.

I hope my HF buds are having an excellent xmas day filled with lots of family, love and laughter.

Quote of the year for me. My grandpa last night "that dog sure does turn me on". Everyone started laughing and it went over his head why. He was talking about Snoopy and he's been a fan for a long time.

My girlfriend wowed everyone with her chicken recipe last night. I guess I am spoiled because that is just normal chicken to me. I eat it all the time. Now I feel bad for living out of the microwave so much.

 

this is very coinkydinky...my friend jerry lives on the top of foley mountain....she is worm lady and possibly the smartest organic off the land person I have ever met

she has been after me for years to come out and get dirty.....in the dirt...not the boudoir lol.says she will teach me....she has an 8000 square foot hydroponic greenhouse and you can drink from her lake...it is the top of the mountain so nothing runs into the lake....only out...she said you can swim underwater and have a drink??

 

Cool. Well they're in the foil capsule holders. I had the one and it seemed to work decently but not sure about the effects as I was drunk anyway lol. But I did feel the buzz and glow and was smiling for like 4 hours, so it must have worked!

Well I ate too much yesterday. End. Of. Story. But it was a good day. my 3 hour cooked lork was the best. And then other family had fried prawns and normal prawns, I'm not much big on seafood but then we also had bread sticks and all sorts of cheeses and salami etc. then sun was out and beautiful day I have a photo of the table I'll try remember to post later.

We also had turkey and a real nice lasagne pasta bake.

We raise worms in reclaimed old chest freezers. They winter-over just fine in them.

I'd love to see her place one day.

I had an awesome Christmas. Everyone loved the gifts I got them. My son and daughter in law got us the stove/oven. My daughter and her girlfriend got me two shirts and some yoga pants; plus a steam mop that was a present to hubby and me.

Christmas was alot of fun.

 

I want to get a steam mop. Lemme know how that works.
