I mean those quitters will be the backbone of your company as long as you keep them happy, right?

 

pens...is seniority playing into the shifts being offered where you work?....or are they just letting the fast workers have a job?

 

They usually don't threaten, they just do it.

 

you are disqualified from the debate on account of you are ''the man'' in this situation....you are an admitted bean counter [high finance] and a business owner....you have a responsibility to the investors far greater than making sure Dorothy gets her shift and can pay her baby sitter ....you are responsible for many dorothys

I get it....but seniority works more often than not....especially under a ''good'' manager because a good manager doesn't have many bad employees....good managers turn bad employees into golden ones

 

So... the only people allowed to have an opinion on how a business operation should be run are those who have never done it? :dizzy2:

I've been on both sides of the fence. I still remember everything about it. I especially remember how easy I thought it would be to be the boss. Wrong. Common mistake.

When lower level employees get their way on everything, it usually doesn't take long for all the customers to go away, and then nobody gets a paycheck.

You know what happened when unions took over Detroit. Everybody started buying foreign cars. Somebody forgot that customers ultimately run the economy. GM and Ford couldn't print money in the basement.

Don't get me wrong, I love the role of unions in history. If you look back at how coal miners used to be treated in the days before unions, it would make any rational person angry. But most of those protections against extreme abuses have been written into law since then. Mission accomplished.

 

most common place to leak on those is the intake gaskets if its a plastic vortec intake....and the front part of the drivers side radiator tank cracks often

fresh 5/30 oil or even a 0 grade synthetic makes winter starts way easier

most of them already have a block heater..maybe just the cord is missing
