Let's see, what are the major causes of inflation - stagnant supply chain, mostly from China, higher shipping costs, due to gouging from Covid, higher labor costs mostly because people are sick of working for peanuts, global price of oil, which is set by private unregulated monopolistic companies, high global demand for goods that face artificial shortages to keep prices up, like automobiles....oh, and tariffs imposed by Trump - which added 26.5% to any aluminum - but since we have no aluminum production remaining in the USA, it turns out to be a tax on us, not that it promotes buying American...
