    I don't remember.

I remember I was on my second beach vacation. It was on t.v. and I liked it.

    That's all I remember.

    Magic Mike XXL

There must have been a worse movie made sometime in the last 100 years but I missed it.
My wife made me watch this piece of trash.

I couldn't follow much of the dialogue as it didn't make much sense.

Magic Mike thinks there's a funeral but when he shows up it's a pool party. So he and a bunch of looser buddies set out for Myrtle beach to do a strip act. On the way they stop at a beach party where one guy kicks the other in the balls for some reason and then some chick takes pictures of him pissing. Then they set off again and take some pills, either acid or speed It was hard to tell, they decide they'll all close their eyes and so wreck the van.

Then they go to a strip club and watch some guys dancing, then they end up at the mansion of the girl who was taking the piss pictures and her mother is having a wine party with her girl friends. The mother sleeps with one of the guys who is grateful because no one else would because his johnson is too big.

Then she lends them her Rolls Royce to travel on to Myrtle Beach. Once there they do a bunch of strip dances which consist of a lot of jumping around and pretending to screw chicks in the front, back, face, lap, and everywhere else. The chicks throw money at them.

    The end.

All the while my wife was telling me who the "actors" were, who was married to who, what shows they were on etc.
The only one I knew was Kevin Nash an ex pro wrestler and he only had about two lines in the whole movie, he just stood around in the back for eye candy.
And the mother was some actress I've seen before, but I don't know who she is.

I watched Tribes(1970) on YouTube last night. I hadn't seen it in years. [IMG]

A Marine Corps drill instructor who is disgusted by the fact that the Corps now accepts draftees finds himself pitted against a hippie who has been drafted but refuses to accept the military's way of doing things.

I liked it. Best shark movie I've seen in a while.

Usually movies like this aren't too bad. Less people, less talk, gives you the opportunity to progressively thrill yourself with your own imagination, but it was the unrealistic aspects that bothered me the most. I thought the shark was straight up lethargic and overweight. The dead rotting whale somehow attracted zero other sharks to the area. The jellyfish scene was appalling and reminded me of the underwater scenes of Baywatch. How a shallow bright blue ocean all a sudden turns black and 30m deep is beyond me. Plus the boring story of her mum dying of cancer and all this stuff that played no part in the story..

And I love sharks, and this was meant to be good. But the only 4 seconds worth watching again were the behind shots of the lass paddling out to the waves.

IMO. Jaws the Revenge is still flat out one of the worst concepts of movies I have ever endured and it ran rings around this one.

The Movie isn’t going to win an Oscar but you're right it wasn’t bad, in fact it was quite good.

A hot girl, plenty of cleavage, slow-motion running, tension, bad-ass shark, School of Jellyfish, Intelligent MacGyver-girl
