There's no vaccine for sars-cov-2 and your country can't afford, and never intended to lock down for the whole length of time it takes to develop one People still seem to be getting this confused. The plan was only ever about flattening the curve so your hospitals aren't overwhelmed, nothing more

No country was ever going to stay in lockdown the bare minimum 12 months it takes for a vaccine 2. Vaccine is not going to be 100% effective for everyone anyway Yes, I was vaccinated for measles etc, but that is irrelevant as there is no sars-cov-2 vaccine. No world leader ever said their country was going to stay in lockdown until one is available
Ahh - you're young enough to have benefitted from a vaccination programme for MMR so you do not understand my question. If you had contracted an infectious disease but your friends didn't then explain why, notwithstanding that at some point during which you were infectious, they were in close association with you.
