i believe there is no real meaning 2 life....we live 2 die
or maybe we were meant 2 destroy the earth, that must be why every1's so good @ it...

if anything had to exist in order to exist, the human species would not exist.

living in such a way that you won't feel entirely frustrated with dieing when it comes time to do so, yes i aggree that makes excellent sense.

the meaning of meaning is meaningless, but the above makes excellent sense.

"living in such a way that you won't feel entirely frustrated with dieing when it comes time to do so"

Hmm..that actually sounds like a good way to live...but do you go about it by living you life like hell.or really well so that you're content when you do die and feel that you did everything that you wanted to?

What is the meaning of life? A tricky question!
My best guess is that the only meaning of life
is life itself. It must only be our
presumption that tries to endow with a meaning
the world, the life and even the petty happenings of
    our daily struggle with existence.
A related question is "what I should do with my
life?". Here, a possible course of action is to
identify your path. Society expects something out
of you, but does not know nor care who you are in
reality. If you have some natural talent and some
spontaneous likes and dislikes, these should be your
    guide through life.

What, you ask, was the beginning of it all.?

    and it was this.

Existence that multiplied itself / for sheer delight of being / and plunged into numberless trillions of forms / so that it might / find / itself / innumerably.

human conciousness and the way lsd has come into play with thought process shows that there are many realities on different levels. the meaning of my life has definitely got something to do with creation i.e. art/performing music/computer programming/graphics/heck, even joint making.

The meaning of life is not known but felt..it starts as a spreading feeling, and goes until you melt into the universe and you feel all of it. I shouldnt be putting it into words, it is an understanding that isnt describable.

lol, it's funny to read the answers to thsi thread (and i've posted a lot) but it's funny because like, for your post sarailoruhamah, I can say i dont' feel taht at all, so then that would just be the meaning for you..but then in reading how other people percieve life and the meaning it makes my view broader..anyways, it's interesting

Yeah, I get what you mean... I guess everyone just has to find their own point for living. The was I see it is there is no real reason for us to be here, we just are, so we should make life to be whatever we want.

For different level of society-theres diff meaning of life. The more u are civilized and technologicaly advanced u look for more, and its the right way to go... never stop learining. Never regress ALWAYS progress. For some children in Birma- meaning of life is fight with other side guerillas/arrmy. not die and produce children. In africa even simpler, find food, eat, feed and so on, only basics....You are the luckeist who have access to internet and can learn and gain unlimited information.. lucky you and me... learn more become more intellegent and maybe you will understand some part of this Golden all time question.
