I LOVE Rhubarb! My granny used to make this strawberry/rhubarb sauce that some people put on ice cream, but I just ate it straight or with a fresh roll. LOVED that stuff, but alas, Granny has now lost her mind and the recipe went with it. I also LOVE cooked cabbage... especially the sour kind. Its the Ukranian part of the family, I guess... cabbage rolls were a mainstay in my childhood diet. Oh, I love Beets too! Borcht was also a mainstay in my childhood diet. For those that don't know Borcht, its a veggie soup with beets and vinegar.. probably an aquired taste? I really hate turnips. Can't stand them. Even the smell makes me gag. I grew up with Scotish grandparents, but still, can't stand cooked neeps!
Corn! It's indigestable, and has no useful fiber, so basically you eat it and it just sits in your intestines until some fiber clears it out the other end :S It's so utterly useless- I told my parents this and they pretty much stopped eating it, too!
i didnt even think i hate for corn could exist. corn is probably my favorite!!!!! you guys are all crazy!
iceburg lettuce is alright when in a mix with other stuff but alone is pretty useless... . I dislike b. sprouts muchly.......I also agree with radishes... yucky... yucky...
I like okra too (the one time I had it at sanskrit camp)....and I love artichokes! My mommy makes them soooo good.
I hate celery... I just cannot stand it. Never could. Although "ants on a log" were great [peanut butter and raisins on celery] As a veggie this may sound weird, but I DESPISE eggplant. And I don't care for raddishes. Although, I can deal with them. And honestly, that's really about all. Everything else is cool with me. Celery is by far my worst enemy though. Oh yeah, and I also hate cilantro, which is more a spice but...BLECH! I hate the taste of cilantro...and I refuse to buy any salsa that reeks in taste of cilantro. Sick.
