I am so over this friggin wet weather.....its summer and I'm sitting here in bloody tights and long sleeves...

    Got the pool vaccuumed
Fed my magpie family that visits.
    Took the boy to nippers
And soon off to read the Sunday papers, and the latest gossip with Warnie and Liz

    Sweet, just broke my phone.
Why do new phones have to be so shit. my old phone took a real beating, or drowning or whatever came its way. Needles to say, he always came out victorious.

Just been down the river for a swim, too hot here. And the pool water is too warm and not as refreshing.

They don't listen to them, they only listen to White Wine in the Sun by Tim Minchin.

Car's getting looked at now. Not looking forward to the impending call regarding the cost of repairs

Car should've cost £330 but they didn't ask my permission to carry out the repairs or give me a quote. So I got them down to £264. Not bad since I was gearing up for 500+!

Now I need the snow to stop so I can get home tomorrow!

Back home and snow looks awesome.

I'm learning how to use my Grandad's Praktica IV with a DeJUR Dual Professional exposure meter ^^ Should have got some B&W film to practise with first but meh, colour is still good if I actully get some decent pics. I've only used battery operated film SLRs before so guessing the suitable f/ss is weird xD Hoping to use up the film tomorrow so I can get it dveloped on wed, to see if I've been successful :D

Fuck metering on film (unless you've got a little in camera meter) just memorise "sunny f-16" and get somewhere in the ballpark. Film has massive exposure latitude compared to dSLR and unless you send it off to some specialist lab it'll get auto corrected somewhat anyway

Made some fudge, rum and raisin seeing as how they had no vanilla at spar. It's setting a bit different than usual, staying smoother longer rather than forming nice big crumbly crystals, it will definitely set but I don't want smooth generic fudge. It was just starting to crystallise when I poured it into the silicone tray to set so hopefully it'll turn out ok.

Also it keeps snowing, and the BBC weather site keeps denying it, and I'm getting a bit pissed off. It was the same last year when we had heavy snow, I think they got a bollocking off some MP's.
