I can't believ I actually enjoyed work today, I had a lovely conversation with 2 little boys about sunflowers and someone actually said thank you when i helped to pack their shopping! Oh and i got to go home half an hour early because they forgot my break. Sadly next week it'll be back to the usual shit hole.

You want to soak your hands in bicarbonate of soda and use aqueous cream, its the best stuff.

My mum suggested E45, might see if there is anything on the ward that would help, or ask one of the doctors. I spend so much money on hand creams and I can't use them at the moment. just need to avoid the horrible stuff at work and keep it moisturised - if I can stand the itching when cream is on!

E45 has loanloin in it, which can irritate it, but then again some people don't ahve a problem with that. I can't remember if Sudo cream has, but that is the best ever stuff for itching.

 One of the nurses told me the other day that she wanted to book a hairdressers appointment for me so that i can get my hair cut so that it is all one length and 'smart'. Was bloody annoyed with her! My hair is a curly, wavy, tangles mess - always will be and I like it!

Urgh, 'smart', my hair is naturally straight but I usually don't brush it so I get a kind of messy look, my mum keeps coming up behind me with hairbrushes! Oh and she insists on trimming it for me, I just want to let it grow!

My mum was like that, I think she has finally given up. Although she did insist that I do something with it for my graduation, so i brushed it when it was wet! I don't brush mine, it just gets very static. I had dead straight dark hair when I was little, now it's lighter and all over the place, but it's mine and I like it messy.

That's probably why she didn't always manage to get the right balance between a monkey with a hangover and big pair of slippers.

Whenever my parents even mention the idea of my hair getting cut I snarl and walk off. It's a pretty handy rule to have.

When is the right time to seek advice from your manager? Should I wait, or have a word? I don't even know what to say....

I am a Goth. Everyone is a Goth. We are all Goths.

Upon the grey stone table that lay slain a grey squirrel. Decapitated head laying pathetically on the floor. Blood dripping down from the table to the ground like rain. The Goths dance around the table listening to the Call of Slipknot and Papa Roach!
