Sriracha aka Rooster sauce is amazing. Really good when mixed with ranch, I use it every time I make a hamburger or sandwich.
Pretty hot but nothing too extreme, just depends on how much you use. I like adding small amounts to anything that needs a kick, but I usually mix it with ranch or put a small amount in fried rice and mix it up real good. They have it at almost every Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, it's pretty common.
at my previous job i created a pizza i put on our menu called "The Flaming Rooster" it was Sriracha and BBQ sauce subbed for marinara.. then you added buffalo chicken.. topped it with a light amount of mozz cheese and then when it was done you drizzled it with ranch.. fucking amazing!
Valentinas sucks..their "extra spicy" was milder than a mild storebrand salsa. Anyone got any obscure/very spicy/tasty hot sauces for someone with a high "tolerance" to spicy foods? I don't find tobasco spicy at all, and most of the hot sauces in stores don't have the kick I'm looking for. I think it's from cocaine fucking up my sense of smell/taste buds. edit: saracha does a pretty good job...and joker that pizza sounds bomb.
didn't see this post...cool. I'm pretty sure there's a davids gourmet like 10 mins from where I live...but I'm not sure it has any affiliation with the website now that I see the site. edit: place near me is davids gourmet =/
We make two kinds of hot sauces at work. Habanero and Ghost Chili. We make them both in house. And holy shit they are soo boss. Whilst cooking the peppers down you can go outside and smell the heat from down the block its awesome. I don't even fuck with Tabasco or Louisiana anymore. Not enough flavor or heat.
sriracha is the only one I use...and I only use it in my beef jerky recipies I do not like the hot sauce after effects that I get
:drool5: That sounds right up my alley. I regret not eating breakfast, damn you for making me hungry at 8am! haha
I love Frank's Red Hot Sauce. It's more of a buffalo wing sauce. if I am eating mexican then I Usually just use taco bell sauce or green tobascco or the hottest sauce from del taco. oh and for any of you thinking of trying ghost pepper sauces. If it is made right you will regret eating it unless you really can handle spicey stuff. Trust me ghost peppers are like a hobernero x3.
Tiger Sauce, has this amazing sweetness to it. The hottest kind is also the hardest to find but it's worth picking some up
