I don't find that it is known that much at all- other then for have the most intense climate range for any city in the country- REALLY cold and REALLY hot...and alot of poverty- but also AMAZING music, art, and films come out of it all the time, lots of awesome cultures and history.

It generally gets a pretty bad wrap, but I really love it.

When I was driving through Canada we drove through the city of Winnipeg and spent the afternoon exploring some of the areas downtown. It was my favourite city and the most beautiful. Some people refer to Winnipeg as "winterpeg" as wastingthedawn likely knows all too well.
