George Burns *slaps forehead* how did I MISS that! Of course! It's all so clear... Man, shame on me... Shame shame shame... Anyway, I was going back to the oldest people, and always they are the least stressed out, so it stands to reason that comedians would be some of the oldest living people on the planet... Let me check this theory... Mel Brooks * 86 (Alive and kicking) George Carlin * 71 (Deceased) Charlie Chaplin * 88 (Deceased) Jack Woodward * 99 (Alive, still is I presume) George Burns *100 (Deceased) So... Hmm... Laughter is the secret to living longer! :afro:
That's cool. I think that as it generally relates to living a physically and mentally healthy and full life, the proper attitude is not, as some have told me, to throw caution to the winds and "just say fuck it", but "fuck it with champagne and bubble-bath". Just fuck it, but gently, that is.
old people fascinate me, but they're too creepy to actually talk to.. my wife, on the other hand, works in a nursing home.
Why would you say old people are "Creepy to talk to"? Just curious? I think they have a lot of experience to share. Of course I have heard many opinions that it might be boring, or maybe they just wouldn't like the topics, but creepy? That's the first time I have heard someone say that it would be creepy to talk to old people... Could you elaborate? I'm trying to get a fix on where that thought process is coming from :afro:
