Keep some baking soda on hand for any more flare ups that might happen. Always keep a pan under so you don't have to clean as much. And please get a fire extinguisher.
We do have one, I just thought we didnt and is right next to the dish detergent, so I must have seen it a million times.
ive always just used oven cleaner to clean em... make sure you have some good scrubby things (preferably the ones that dont come presoaked in chemicals), cleaning ovens can be a biiiitch to scrub down
