speak of the devil! for... 15 hours now i've been experiencing literally the worst cramps i have EVER had. even when i BEGAN my period. i couldn't sleep until 5 am when i finally cried myself to the point of exhaustion, and i woke up doubled over in pain. i was up for about an hour when i decided i couldn't deal with it and went back to sleep until about a half hour ago, when i woke up and called my dr. her nurse took a message and she's supposed to call me back asap. god let's hope. what a shitty shitty day. the only thing to even slightly distract me is the internet... augh. i cant ride my bike, i cant stand long enough to take a hot shower. i'm not due for my period for at least another week. i totally can't deal with this if it might not even be effective because i screwed it up.... @%&*$*&^# //sorry.
As I mentioned in my original post, if you have problems with the pill, you can try a different forumlation of hormones before giving up totally. Mark
It's a month for it to take effect, and the i never lost my sex drive. and your periods are kinda the same unless, you were like me i was on the shot first and i was on my period for 2 months, then i switched over to the pills and i was on it for 6 months and then i started having my period for 2 weeks at a time, but people are different, i was told by my doctor i can not take any birth control, so it depends.i think you need to talk to the doctor!!!
thanks for your advice again :0) just got back from the gyno (w00t!) apparently all my problems are an ovarian cyst. superb. i'm only half sure what that is to begin with.
if you take the pill on the first day of your period, you are protected immediately. However, docotrs usually tell us to start on the 5th day. When I started on the first day, I had spotting for the rest of the month and that sent me into a frantic craze because nobody told me about it and I thought I had some serious vaginal problem or something.
I have one too. They do hurt, though, alot. The bc pills should help it out. That's what my obgyn told me. It should go away at the end of your cycle. If it doesn't, you need to go back to the dr. I actually need to make an appt. with mine because mine has lasted for like a month.
