I am amazed he can actually step. Most popes are moveless heaps of flesh who have to be transported by a specially made vehicle.

Good riddance, the only good pope is a dead pope.

 

I am not Catholic, so this is irrelevant to me, but he is too creepy to be a pope anyway.

The only hope of a change in policy is a new leader in the Vatican. A new leader is immanent now and so is the hope, desire and wish for change among people in general, even those who do not follow this faith.

 

Yeah, I hope they choose someone who will back-off the anti-birth control propaganda.

 

The selection process didn't screen out those who help cover up molesters. Might as well put a group of papal candidate bishops on American Idol and let the audience pick the next pope.

 

I think he is stepping down because they tested him and discovered he is 24% horse meat.
