I know I do! In my opinion Goldeneye is the last great Bond movie (so far).

I liked all the: 'For England, James' and a few other elements.
I didn't much like the Alan Cumming/Boris Grishenko (the cliched annoying geek with glasses)...and all that Russian malarky was a little dated (even for 1995)..
    ...I didn't hate it, though.
I just prefer Skyfall (with all it's own faults)...

I was being a little over dramatic ;)

Yeah, I was 12 at the time. It made a lot of impact I guess :D Nevertheless I rewatched it many times and still enjoyed it a lot better than any Bond movie after it. It had all the classic elements and the classic atmosphere of the older Bond movies that I find lacking in the Craig ones. Also, the other movies with Brosnan had too ridicilous plots/action. The action in Goldeneye was spectacular and over the top but in the right amount.

I prefer most things to Skyfall. lol

Yeah I just meant the Bond films!

And yeah Asmodean, GoldenEye was totally wicked! Martin Campbell is a legendary director and Brosnan is a legendary Bond!

    Campbell also directed Casino Royale.

I do prefer CR to GE, but I adore both :)

    I was 19/20 (I thought you were older than me :D ).
I think they were obviously going for the 'classic elements' (double entendres / Russians etc) ...
I guess I'm not really a fan of the 'classic bonds' / older bond movies.

I like Craig and Timothy (in that order) The rest? meh, whatever...

Oh yeah I am totally biased when it comes to all the classic Bond movies  This in contrary to Star Trek for example, where I only start really liking things from The next generation and later.

I like some of the ST films. But I don't like TOS. Yeah, TNG onwards, got me too.

I dig most of the Bond movies man, course Sean Connery was the best Bond period in my book, but not everyone agrees with that. My wife hates all things Bond :( Says he's a womanizing dildo. On the Star Trek note, I prefer Next Gen and on, love Spock though. :2thumbsup:

based on what i've seen in movies, i assume none of them can afford a tv so they don't know how they're portrayed in movies.

I was talking to Asmodean. I just didn't quote him. You posted in the middle.

No worries. If it's any consolation, I might be kidding myself - but I think you look older than me, too. Maybe it's the height (of you both) and your glasses.
