Changin you know I can not believe that you are still at it. Your so called super hero with a plan took a dive on this thread as he can not answer as he has none. Asked and he took a dive.....friggin big surprise. Ever meet those who claim they can walk on water and can not tread it. Well you just met one. So now instead you are now hell bent on attacking those who meant no harm.

The person who you chose to defend when they could not defend themselves has clay feet and you now lash out at those who dared to call him on that. Read disappointment and that is understandable but not the issue of those who made the call.

Amazingly no one said anything different.....only used other words to say feel your head, have a plan and be able to weather the storms that are going to come.

You need to stop, please as you are searching as all have done and that is a wonderful place to come from. To search without an open heart is to search in vain.

There are communities out there that will be more than happy to have you as one of their rank and members once you grow up.

I would like to propose to you that if this is your dream then put it together for you....do not call of a group to join instead plan and make a move on your own. You will either grow and make it or fail and learn and hopefully instead find one to belong to that meets what you need.

This is not a critical post....this is reality.

I with all my heart wish for you that you find what you seek but that is also tempered with reality of what is. Can not do it any other way.

You will find as you age and mature that you live in your own skin with comfort knowing exactly what you are and who you are and no words on a screen from any other can change that. Hence the asking another to leave is juvenile as it only shows that you have no comfort in who you are or where you are.

Grow. If you are a smart man it will be with the help of those that mean it with good intent. If not, it will simply take you a little longer but you will grow.

Take your diasappointment out on the one with clay feet, not all others.

I left the ashram over 18 years ago as I also had a claim on reality for me and my children but I still fund that dream. I will live that dream again in comfort as it is planned for.

We fund them, we work to change them.

Well kevinsmith: good luck in you project. All good things worth doing have their obsticles. I don't know if your idea will work, but I suspect it will be changed and refined many times before you even get started.

 

I've noticed that this debate has a flavor of "dreamers" versus "doers"......not to mention the apparent generation gap.... pretty intense reading...

OldWolf, HippyHillbilly, have you guys ever thought of sitting down and posting step by step what is actually involved in creating a "community" or "co-op"??

Since you guys are some "doers" (and I'm sure at one time you were "dreamers") that just may be some of the most helpful info in this forum.

Well HippyHillbilly is not partaking in community or Co-Op from what he has expressed but is continuing with sole propietorship (individual ownwership) which keeps all the balls in his court as to all decisions regarding his property and whoever else's if any names are on the deed - course that means all liabilities are the deed bearers as well.

To start a co-Op you must have a name which must be researched to make sure no-one else claims that name and a statement of purpose, by-laws, and a Lawyer willing to run the legal wording.
The lawyer fees I'm looking at is only $500 and that is going N.P. Co-Op though we have not formalized and are still in beginning phases of name search.

A Do-er is Doing. As opposed to talking or dreaming, he is making moves to make it happen from an individual place. That does not mean he is not acting in conjunction with others - it means that one is doing whether their are others - whether any 1 individual drops out - one is actively doing thing personal;ly to make the dreams manifest - acting in a Now mode as opposed to waiting.
Of course other being involved make things easier to manifest - energy of a group of likeminded committed to the same goals will always enhance - but first must always come the individuals commitment to the dream being made active, taken from the world of thought and put into action - and this always stems from the individual and is not determined by others involvement - though as I said is greatly enhanced by that.

And yes I know that communication is a very important part of any community coming together, but first come the actual Doing or all that results is hot air - and in these times of global warming we don't need that increase LOL

One question each needs to answer is - shall I work on my dream or does it depend on other coming forward first ? A dream that depends on others making it happen ....Hmm....
don't look too promising.
