gucci, I never cared whether you have a similar attitude to me, I just wanted to make sure we were understanding each other. you seemed to be under the impression that I accepted my radical abstracts as real or infallible, which I don't. they're just fun and the only thing I would say with any degree of certainty is that there is more to our existence than what we can perceive. reality distortion can produce objective analysis for mortality, but it's not the only thing that can. you also seem to be indicating that while we're engaged in this mode of abstract thought our heads are in the clouds out of touch with reality while you are grounded and practical. do you think this is all we are capable of? we''re just as grounded as you are and participate in fixed reality just as much, we just happen to enjoy these abstracts. it was kinda the point of the thread. we don't lose touch with ourselves and we don't go crazy seeking answers. one doesn't need to be confused or frustrated by their reality in order for their minds to penetrate these areas, only curious and inquisitive. I realize these efforts are not necessary and aren't indulged in by all. you were the one that chimed in; my comments to you were only reactionary.I love you brother.

God = some entity , some type of force , that motivates the universe towards constantly heightening states of consciousness and complexity which in turn creates further simplicity

science calls it energy, religious zealots call it god, it doesn't matter. we all have different definitions and terms of the exact same thing, even down to the manner of our lifestyles. we're just different outputs of the same energy source.

I think a good word thats been surfacing is 'spin'. Spin is the driving force behind all existence, atoms and quarks must spin to exist and that manifests all the way up to large forms, galaxies, planets, storms... and people, albeit the flow of the cycle is quite abstract by the time it reaches the mid-sized of manifestation known as 'human'. But it's still the same cycle of spin in anything.

And the thing that makes this word particularly interesting is because everything is spinning at the exact same rate. Thats a given. The atoms on neptune are spinning the same exact rate as the atoms on earth and the same exact rate as the atoms in you and the same exact rate the edge of the universe is spinning. I find this metaphor typically gets across the point to people how we are in fact riding the same gear no matter what metaphor you stick to it.

Plus 'spin' also innately explains how this component of sameness in our existence manifests to so many forms... everything transfuses this base flow of energy up into quarks, atoms, molecules and physical existence in a billion different ways. But it's still the same exact component at the base.

Plus spin is so non-esoteric you can use it even with your devote science atheist without them even realizing it's a god or Om metaphor.
